Remarks :
An aggregate of no less than 55% marks in English and a set of three best other subjects from the below: any language subjects (core/elective) from List A, Economics, Geography, History, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. There were reservations for SC ST OBCs EWS PWD and KM. Application forms are available online, application fees too will be conducted online. After each list, 2 days were given to choose the college as well as the course and 2 days were provided for the fee payment and application confirmation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Political Science Honors is a field area I'm interested to know about and happy I got my course. The faculty of KNC is great they are focused and prioritize each and every student. All the information is updated on its website. Teachers are very humble and helpful. Teachers provide all the important ppts. Binders are something very very helpful. College's library is huge and provides all the study materials. There are about 130-140 students in my section which is further divided into 2 groups. There's one assignment every month or so and exams at the end of every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Kamla Nehru College is one of the finest colleges affiliated with Delhi University. Prospicio, the Placement Cell of the institute witnessed another fruitful year. During the 2020 placement drive, 15 companies approached the institute for placements and 35 students were placed. In the placement drive of 2020, the highest CTC stood at INR 6 LPA whereas the average CTC stood at INR 3.5 LPA and the highest stipend for the summer internship placement stood at INR 10K. Some of the top recruiters include KPMG, EY, FIS Global, Teach For India, Deloitte, and many more. The Placement Cell introduced a new section named Government Jobs and Scholarship Opportunities.
Placement Experience :
The very first-year students are ready for placements and internships. The highest package offered is 6 LPA Kamla Nehru College is one of the finest colleges affiliated with Delhi University. Prospicio, the Placement Cell of the institute witnessed another fruitful year. Around 15-20 companies arrived and 40-50 students were placed. After completing my bachelor's degree I'll surely pursue master's.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Kamla Nehru College provides higher education at a very budget-friendly pocket. The cost here is just 9700/ year. There are scholarships available. The internship cell is very excellent, active, and has wonderful output.
Campus Life :
There are so many fests in college. Of course, the annual fest is held at the end of the year. Every department has its fests often. Knc has a very huge library. All sorts of books for different courses are available. Eca department is proactive here. There's NSS and NCC and so many societies. Knc has about 14-15 societies and each society represents itself at fests like IIT Bombay. Knc groups are very much active on almost every social media Instagram Facebook LinkedIn, Spotify, and much more. Few Societies has a podcast channel on Spotify.
