Everything to know you about my College

Remarks :

I had given neet exam which is national exam to get in medical fields like Mbbs, Bds, Bhms, etc I was open category student so I didn't get any benefit but for another category student there is the benefit you have to show caste certificate...nta is the conducting institute which conducts neet exam as such there is nice and smoothly admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I m in my second-year Mbbs now in my first-year Mbbs there was 1st and 2nd semester/term exams and at the end one big prelim exam and at the final, there is a University exam ..exams are difficult but the passing percentage is easy to score.. after theory, there is practical exam too.

Internships Opportunities :

So in internships of one year, we have small months divided in which we have to work in different OPD like dermatology, gynecology, Opthalmology, etc. I m from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College student which is popular for its internship because the patient load is huge here.

Placement Experience :

Mbbs is for 4.5 years and then there is a compulsory 1-year internship after Mbbs ...after that, it depends on students to pursue higher education like MD/Ms or be a medical officer (mo) in any government or private hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As my family income is less than 8 lacks and I m a general category student I got a half fees scholarship ..for another category student the fees is very less and even scholarship are also there...other campus jobs I have not done as studying is more important than these now.

Campus Life :

There are many such clubs like Rotaract club, mediocre club, aspire etc ..in college itself, there is student section which runs a social group like awareness program for tuberculosis, cancer, etc website can also be there if you are involved in any activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As in any medical college there 2 internals, 1 prelim and 1 university examination. Each exam has nearly given a gap of 2months. There occurs theory and practical exam both of which are taken in sequence. In theory exams they rate our theoretical knowledge whereas in practical exam our clinical knowledge is given importance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Remarks:

Well college is quite good there is nothing to say much negative about your college but it is much crowded students don't get much facilities as they want and other extra curricular activities like social economic and political camps or anything else should be organised so that students are enrolled.
