Remarks :
There was no entrance test for admission anyone who has cleared his 12th exams can take admission. First, you have to take the admission form from either reception or online from the website and then fill it, either online or offline. And then after submitting there will be a merit list coming after a week or so. Then if it has your name you can go to the college with the required documents and take admission if not then wait, eventually, almost everyone will get admission. Then submit fees and get roll number and voila you're done. The improvement could be that all the processes should be both offline and online.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course mainly consists of accounts and other stuff related to commerce. I choose this course because I had an interest in accounts and economics. The facilities are good, the ratio would be 20:1 according to me. Some of the facilities are good and experienced whereas some are new and don't know anything and their teaching style is also poor. The term exams were late in respect to other colleges and universities. And pretty difficult, if I have chosen between 1 to 10 then I will rate 8 for the exams, they were very difficult. Many of the students were underachievers or couldn't clear the exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee Structure is decent I would say, I mean it's not high like some private colleges but it's not cheap either, considering the fact that it's government funded college, the fees could be low. The fees are around 19-20 thousand for the first year and then 16-17 thousand for the rest of the two years. Only SC and backward caste students get scholarships, not those who really need them, and there are no campus jobs and any financial assistance provided to the students.
Campus Life :
I have heard from seniors about the annual fest but, because of covid, it's cancelled. There is a freshers party for students but not any farewell party. The freshers happen around August after admissions. Books are pretty limited in the library and most of the books are related curriculums and all are around 5-6 years old. The benches to sit are decent in commerce block, but science and art blocks benches are classrooms are like 20-25 years old and most are broken. There are no sports on the campus, there was a carrom board room but it's closed because of covid. There are no extracurricular activities, we do studies all the time. There is only one club which is Abvp, it's not from our college it's a pretty old club and is all across India. There is only one website which is officially run by college.
