Remarks :

Admission was given based on my NEET score. The process was central counseling and I was allotted this college in second round counseling and I went for it. To be eligible, one must qualify NEET with required marks depending on that year's cut-off marks. I didn't avail any reservation benefits so I don't know about that. The admission process is handled by the government so the college has no say in it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

No stipend is given during internship to any student which is very contrary to other medical colleges. As it is medical, there is no such thing as campus placement or something here. We have to do an internship in the college's hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees are 15 lacs per year [may have increased now] which is subjected to a 10% increase every year. The hostel is compulsory and its fee are 2 lacs per year. The overall cost to complete your MBBS comes around 90 lacs approx. No scholarship or financial assistance is provided and no stipend is given during the internship.

Campus Life :

As the college comes under the MM Deemed to be University, so many fests are held by different courses throughout the year but the most anticipated of them is UNIVERSUM [conducted around October every year] which is organized by the cumulative assistance of students all the courses. All the books related to the course by leading authors as well as a few recent journals are available in the library. All the lecture theatres are air-conditioned and are equipped with speakers. There is big LED TV to display PowerPoint slides along with conventional marker boards in every lecture hall. Sports events are held as part of the fests mentioned above as well as separately. Extracurricular activities events are held as part of the fests. There are several clubs like the literary club or the art club for people to become a part of.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are air-conditioned and you have an option to stay alone or with a roommate. The fees increases if you want to leave alone. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel along with a badminton court and a vending machine. The meal is not very good but is alright. Registration for a hostel is done at the time of admission only and it's compulsory. The hostel fee is 2 lacs and the registration process is hassle-free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The decision to serve humanity influenced me to join this course. This course is considered most prestigious course, but still the doctors are paid less compared to other professions. The teaching method should be improved, teacher should interact with students with calmness.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty is good but if we talk about teaching methods as we all know that in medical College you have to study on your own. some professors only come to read slides. The main exam will be held in the last of the year on its basis you will be promoted in the 2nd year, but tests are held on alternate weeks approx.

Placement Experience:

There are 100 students per batch, and it's a 5-year course, including a one-year internship. During the internship, we will be offered with a stipend around Rs. 20,000 per month. But there is a bond that you have to work for 3 years after the course, and you can break the bond by paying a specific amount.
