Entrance Preview :

M.sc(elec) entrance test from osmania university. We are the 2nd batch when O.U started M.sc(elec). So randomly chose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good. It's been very long since I gone through the course. So didn't remember much in the subject as iam in a different field of job. The elective we chose is, digital electronics 8086 microprocessor I guess. And we did a project of fire based security system which sends an sms when if the house gets fire in our absence.

Internships Opportunities :

College didn't offer any internship. As part of project we were suggested with an institute which offer guidance on projects. Through which we completed the projects ourselves.

Placement Experience :

Placements are not good at our times initially as it was only the 2nd year after OU started electronics course in Msc. As far as I remember only one company came for campus placement.

College Events :

We had only freshers party, farewell party and a college annual day. Annual day was good, as function was for every student of HRD college including degree students. Cultural activities also good though we didn't participate in anything.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not aware of scholarship/loan facility offered by HRD PG college. Or if some one availed or not. As degree college is in a separate place, not sure of people, who took scholarships.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good and enjoyable. Labs were Informatory. And all equipment was good and new. We had an outing in first year. Staff used to conduct like quizzes etc within class rooms.

Exam Structure :

The college days were not really hectic. Not much exams overall. Labs were frequent though. But we enjoyed our lab work. Overall it was a cool experience, not hectic. In Msc we don't write so many exams as in engineering etc.

A great place to grow

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculm is great for a solid career in research fields and for better understandings how systems work. Although,from current scenario,the curriculm can be improved to include much needed subjects like machine learning ,ai,cloud computing ,aws etc. the frequency of examinations is proper. Due to the 4 internal pattern,it gets easier to attempt the final examination. Teaching methods are also apt although there is scope for much more interactive teaching where students can be acitvely involved in the learning process.

Fabulous and super campus for students

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester is for Master's students and 4th semester for Bachelor's students .many companies are linked with the college like Hetero, GVK laboratories, cognizant, tech Mahindra is some of the companies that offer jobs for students. The lowest and highest package is 400000lpa and 1600000lpa respectively. 86% of students got placements.

Placement Experience:

about 60 percetent of our students got placed last year in different companies like tech mahindra, infosys, deloitte,wipro,tcs. The companies offer pakages based on skills of students.heighest package is 6 lpa and lowest package is 1.2 lpa. Many students reject this offers to purse their P.HD. Students are eligible to seat in placements from last semester . There should be no active backlogs for students when goind though a placement.
