Remarks :
12th with 60% mark is the minimum eligibility for applying Bsc Nursing. Application form and fee details are uploaded in the amrita college of a nursing site with phone numbers, should apply before august every year before an academic year. An entrance exam is conducted by Amrita University for the eligibility assurance and students should pass the exam. Only 100 students per year. Admission procedure and exams were all conducted online ,after passing the exam we should report the College with our certificates verification. Amrita University is a deemed University and it's the No.1 University in south india. Atmosphere friendly college and everything is easily available as it is in Kochi.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Bsc. Nursing as the career opportunities are too good and I chose amrita because it's well known for its academic qualifications and faculties and the hospital. Faculties are highly qualified doctors and MSc Nurses and retired Colonels. Teaching methods are completely digital, we get presentations through GC and Teams and also printouts. Every year there are sessional exams and model practical exams before the university exams
Internships Opportunities :
Amrita hospital appoints its students in their hospital without any interview or exams with salary and stipend. And hostels are provided for their workers and students. Every survey and social experiment is conducted by students of amrita college to promote the interaction between students and the community.
Placement Experience :
From 4th year students are eligible for placement in amrita hospitals, They provide 40000 for their students for working in the hospital. 99% of students get placement after Amrita studies To take MSc Nursing and visit abroad
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are currently 145000 for first-year including uniform and stationary , 100000 for the next 3 years tution fee only ,this is for management students and for merit students it was 80000 per year. College and university provide 100% placement assistance and placement ,in amrita hospital only. We got scholarship of SAINA (San Antonio Indian Nurses Association).
Campus Life :
There are freshers day, art's day ,nurses day ,ammas bday everything is celebrated grantly as you can google it and fetch every mesmerizing memories of amrita College, even provide dj nights and new year nights for the students. Every books ,journals and assignment related to the courses are present in the college library and in the central library of Amrita. Amrita conducts sports every year among all the couses and also encourage students to get involved Classrooms are well lit well ventilated and 100 seat per classroom mode ,with digital classrooms. Also conference rooms provided for students with external teachers in A/C halls. SNA - STUDENT NURSING ASSOCIATION present in college to promote the interaction between the faculties and the students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are for 3 students in a room, containing a bed, cupboard, and chairs for each Student and a small balcony for drying dresses. We have a common bathroom but highly maintained and cleaned every morning. Mess food is all vegetarian and provides the best meal for every day without any bad reviews. We get fresh food every day. When we apply for college automatically they avail hostel and mess. Many PGs are available in the hospital surroundings themselves.
