I gave CMAT as an MBA Entrance exam. It's available on the CMAT portal. Graduation from any stream is the minimum eligibility criteria. After Written, there is a process of PI at designated centres and based on performance and cutoff, admission is granted
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is designed in a way to give practical and theoretical exposure simultaneously. Case study based assignments, discussions and live trainings help to understand the business environment in a better way. Faculties are highly qualified and graduates of esteemed colleges like IIMs and IITs, also all of them has industry experience at senior management level for more than 10 years at least.
Internships Opportunities :
More than 150 companies visited the KIIT School of management to offer internships. Many of them paid a nice stipend and also offered Pre Placement Offers to the deserving candidates. I was offered an internship at an esteemed organization Tata Technologies Ltd and it was a purely Marketing and analytical based assignment on which I got hand on experience.
Placement Experience :
Starting from the 3rd semester, companies start visiting the campus and the average CTC at the campus is around 7 Lakhs per annum I received an international opportunity with a CTC of 18.5 Lakhs. KIIT ensures around 90% student placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure justifies the kind of curriculum and industry exposure students use to get and also there are provisions for scholarships based on several criteria. Its a completely residential program so hostels are compulsory. I got an oncampus placement and internship opportunity. I worked as an intern in Tata Technologies ltd and recieved international campus placement at Khimji Ramdas LLC.
Campus Life :
Campus life at KIIT is an amazing one. It's one of the top 10 most beautiful campuses in country and offers the amazing scenic beauty of nature. KIIT also offers one of the largest library access via both online and offline modes comprising the latest journals to old industrial case studies.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility luckily is nice here, privacy and socializing are both taken care of. Mess meals are designed by the student committee itself and are ensured for proper taste, their quality food is served at the campus.
Interview Experience :
Topics for GD are very much general. It's all about the confidence and the command in body language a candidate possess. Test Pattern is very much similar to CAT based syllabus. One needs to be confident and aware of the happenings around the world, to be able to qualify the processes.
