BBA journey in Presidency College

Remarks :

I think one of the main reasons to choose this college was its infrastructure for the consistent support system to its students. I chose to submit my application online since both options for online and offline processing were available. In the first step of the online application process, I had to register myself then subsequently fill-up the form. In the next step, I made the payment of the application fee. Then I had to appear in the telephonic interview round. The final selection was made based on approval by the university in Bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it is a very practical-oriented degree. The BBA program offers both practical as well as theoretical, and practical training as per the new dynamic business world. Over the three years, we had six semesters. The mode of assessment was the internal assessment consisted of the test, attendance, and pre-finals. Subjects like Business Analytics, corporate administration, corporate financial management, etc were part of our curriculum

Placement Experience :

We got assistance regarding the career opportunity from the experienced team of the placement team. Some of the prominent recruiters in our campus recruitment program were AXIS Bank, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, Cognizant, Ernst and Young, Metric stream, HCL, ICICI Bank, KPMG, Northern Trust, etc. The average salary offered by the maximum recruiters was Rs.3.65 LPA, while the highest salary offered by recruiters was Rs.10 LPA. The department of placement also provided us with the training of skill upgradations, pre-placement training, skill-based grading, etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As the semester fee, I paid Rs.150000 every semester. I don’t know other financial assistance is available or not as I had no requirement for that. There were some need-based and merit-based scholarship schemes available for us. We also participated in several skill-based trainings and seminars.

Campus Life :

The library cum e-resource centre was my favourite zone on our campus. The smart classroom, smart business Lab, art room, cafeteria were the best parts of the campus. I used to participate in the management club ‘Kaizen’, I also participated in the badminton game in my lazier time. Ladies' common room, the lounge was the special zone for us as we used to hang out in that places also.
