Remarks :
College counsellors were pretty helpful and provided every needed piece of information required. They even told how competitive the IT sector was, which every Navi has to understand. Explained the procedure for placement and various educational options after UG! There was not a particular day for counselling but if you go to the management they will explain everything to you.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I found the BCA course curriculum very similar to BE computer science, both BCA and CSE have the same major i.e computer programming mostly. You will most likely get the same knowledge as a CSE student which is the most important thing in the IT sector and experience as well. If I had a choice to Choose between CSE and BCA my first choice would be CSE but if you want to just complete your UG in an IT field, you may have to plan for competitive exam and stuff I go for BCA rather than any commerce or art UG degree which will narrow your options after graduation. Faculty to students ratio 1:20 (not accurate) which is very decent in my opinion All The faculty members are well experienced and they know what they are doing Exams are conducted every 5 months, there are two semesters in each year which mean a total of 6 semesters. You can score good marks in them if you just study enough nothing extraordinary is required.
Placement Experience :
The placement takes place around/after 5 semesters multiple well know multinational cooperation such as TCS, INFOSYS, Wipro, Capgemini etc come for recruiting students, a number of offers made vary from year to year. The average package is expected around 2 lakhs per annum and the highest is around 3 lakhs. Most of the students prefer going for higher education such as MCA including me. This leads to a higher paying jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically, you can apply for any scholarship scheme you want to be provided by rtmnu. The college does not provide any scholarships or any financial support that I know. The fee structure is quite simple to pay half at the start of the year and the 2nd half at the start of the new semester.
Campus Life :
Talking about the campus it's not very impressive just a stand alone building with a total of four floors each floor has around 15 classrooms. Other than that a canteen, parking lot, one small basketball court. Now the fun part the College is very well known for these events which it hosts new things is happing every other week you sure won't be missing any part of college life. Events such as dance competitions, debate intercollege sports and more.
