Remarks :
I had pursued my UG from from the same college and since I really liked the way of teaching and the overall working of the college, I decided to pursue my MBA from here. I had also received decent reviews about the course from my seniors so after careful consideration of all aspects, I opted for JNU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As the name suggests, MBA- Dual provides a dual degree specialisation which is something that intrigued me. I opted for HR & Marketing as my areas of specialisations. Case study analysis, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, Project Work & Field Assignments are a major part of curriculum here which are sure to aid students in handling complex management issues in the future.
Placement Experience :
I am yet to sit for my placements since I am just in my second semester but from what I've heard from my seniors, around 80% of the batch got placed last year but the highest offered package was of 5 lpa. Amazon, Intel, HP, LG, Infosys and Byju's are some of the top recruiters.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is affordable; it costs around 1,80,000 pa which brings the total to around 3,60,000 which is excluding hostel and mess charges. You can also avail merit based scholarships or a few that are provided by Government-funded agencies. The college also has a tie up with Union Bank which provides zero cost and collateral free loans. I do not have detailed information on the matter since I did not opt for a loan.
Campus Life :
I had joined the course during Covid so I haven't gotten a chance to stay at campus but from my experience of my UG days I can ensure that there's plenty of things to enjoy on campus. The cafeteria has good food, there's a gymnasium that you can go to or enjoy a book in the library. There are also plenty of clubs that one can join; Yoga club, Sports club, Photography club, Dramatics club, The Young Readers and Writers Forum (YRWF), The Sophists Club or The Debaters Club to name a few.
