Remarks :

I applied for the modern college of Shivajinagar Pune and because of covid-19 we should not be attending the college but lectures are still going on in online mode. I applied for modern college cet and then I select for mca course based on cet marks. The admissions were fully online mode in our college because of covid and merit list was provided by a college so on that basis students was selected for up to 3rd merit list and then close the admissions. The modern college has its own YouTube channel and they are conducting tutorials on the channel and provide all information about her college like campus, library, only admission process etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose mca because I aspire to learn practical knowledge about programming. MCA provides the right platform for programming and also mca Course gives way to go in the IT industry. The faculty of the modern college is so good and has supportive teaching staff and always learning the right path. The faculty of the modern college is well experienced like experience in its companies and other knowledge is also provided by staff and teaching method is also very understanding. If we study hard so it couldn't be hard to pass and as per the paper marks, time was scheduled.

Class Size : 15Course Fees : INR 44613 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In mca course 2021 the fees were 44,613 rs per year and the college provide NT/SC category scholarship and reduce the fees. In modern college, there is a good campus selection through different companies like TCS, Infosys, blue pineapple etc. And almost all students were placed through campus interviews.

Usually after 3rd semester college starts providing placements and internships to students. I got placed from my college but in a marketing category with an average package of 6lpa. College promotes various placements activities and collaboration with various companies as well. Students get placed the percentage of students getting placed is about 70 to 75% in an average.

Best college in Marathwada

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for placement. There are so many companies like tcs, Infosys, Capgemini, etc companies visit our college in last decade. I think 80 to 70 percent students are getting jobs some students didn't get in the criteria so didn't eligible for campus placement. I have to get a job in a good IT company.

In order to secure an admission to the first year, the candidates must have graduated with a 3 year degree minimum and must have secured 50% marks in class 12 and graduation. Apart from this, the student must have studied maths and computers in class 12 so that he/she can understand and retain the subject. The forms are easily available.

Placement Experience:

The college placement cell is very up-to-date and very active. They know everything about the latest trends and understand what skills are required in the industry and a student must possess those skills. For this, some special training programs and recent updated chapters in a course are added and students are taught accordingly. This helps them perform better in the industry.

I get into VIT college through MHCET-MCA. I scored 99.42 percentile in the cet exam. This is top college in Pune for MCA. The admission process is quite simple.

Placement Experience:

In VIT you dont need to worry about placements if one have good scores. Many companies come like TCS, Cognizent, IBM, Infosys, Texas Instruments, Persistent, EQ Technology, Thoughtworx, Barclays, Varian Medical systems. Packages they provide are between 3Lakh to 15Lakh. For MCA department out of 30, 27 students were placed.
