Remarks :
College admissions are all about finding a school that fits you. As an applicant, you are looking for an environment where you can thrive academically and personally, and it is the job of an admission officer to identify students who will make great additions to a unique campus community. So there was an admission process based on our 12th marks and we are advised to choose any of our 3 main courses and they helped us a lot during the admission process there is a minimum cut-off of aggregate 50 percentage in 12th standard to get admission in GSS College and I applied for RLS and GSS and ended up with GSS because RLS was an autonomous college so I joined here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in pure applied science so I have to go through this and accordingly I took admission to gss College only. And here faculty is very good there are plenty of lecturers for single subject like 5 to 6 lectures for single subject and they all will teach you day by day and there are mentors for every 10 to 15 each students and lecturers are well qualified like some are Done with MSc and some are with PHd and they will conduct exam every single month like IA 1 IA 2 .
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunity is plenty here as in our city many companies are there they will hire students for internships like chemical industries and petroleum industries and vega a helmet manufacturing company and many other they offer us to represent them in different places with there projects like about physics and chemicals
Placement Experience :
From the 5th sem students become eligible for campus interview there are only few companies ehi visits our college like Infosys and Wipro etc and many students who are having knowledge with Computer science and physics will get opportunity highest package offered by company was 6 lacs and lower was 2.5 upto 10% students get placement here as I am in final year iam thinking about masters after my graduation MSc in physics.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is around 18,000 fee for my course for the year it is divided into many terms like campus maintenance, library charge, playground charge, etc and there are many scholarships like epass and minority scholarships where we can get our all fees back. They will help Financial assistance in the way that they will take only half Monday upto when you arrange full money ddt,
Campus Life :
There are plenty of fests in our college like science festival and Tarang dance function and singing competition and photography competitions drawing competitions etc and in the library, there are plenty of Books which helps us for syllabus purpose also and another competitive exam also and they conduct inter-class Cricket tournament and khokho tournament, etc and there is Rotaract club which is run by students under Rotaract club of belagavi
