Remarks :

There were some cut off marks varying from course to course. I chose BSc. In which I opted for physics chemistry maths and nanoscience as major subjects. Overall cut off is based on 12th scores and CET scores.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to learn physics and chemistry deeply so I chose this course. There were around 7groups in BSc. Teachers are mostly from class 1 institutions like IITs, NITS, SPPU, Anna University etc and they are PhD holders in their resp subjects. The teachers are very friendly and supportive. Term exams are in October and April.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 4000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As my course was granted from university so the fees were very less and fees varied from category and reservations. But overall fees are under 5k. There are so many scholarships for all students like govt of India post matric scholarship and Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj scholarship. Also many scholarships for girls students too. So many companies were visited our campus. Cognizant technology solutions offered a 2.8 LPA package. TCS offered 2-3.5 LPA packages. Infosys offered a 2.2 LPA package for the post of ops executive. Datamatics offered fro dot net, Php developer trainee role, some pharma companies also offers lab technician role, ICICI offered sales role with 2lpa package and also so many companies visited. Around 20-30 students got placed from our course.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is special for science students which are known as the science festival. A number of books are there in the library. The library is very huge. The classroom is big almost 100 students can sit at a time. WiFi is provided by the college. KTHM is best for you if you are a sportsman. The very huge ground is there, boat club is also there.

There are several placement opportunities in the college , companies like TCS, DELOITTE,etc recruit from this college. Around 40-50% students get placed as some pursue other studies. The highest package is around 10 lakhs while average is 3.5 lakh.

If you're interested in Biotechnology Then you must come to Hislop college Nagpur . Because , Here you got most Experienced , well educated , PhD Teachers in Nagpur. I choose this course because I want know biology in deep . In this you will got 3 subjects Chemistry, Botany, And Biotechnology And you have to chose 2 optional sub. For 1st yr only . Where Eng is compulsory. So only one optional you have to choose. The strength of college specially in my course is 50.yes it is private but not like other colleges here everything is systematic that's why don't take so many students in a acadmic yr. Teaching skills of every teacher are very excellent . You will get 3 teachers for Botany and Biotechnology and 2 tech. For chem. For a Acadmic yr. Teachers are caring. They always try to make communicate with you. Overall the college is excellent .
