Remarks :
I had not applied to any other college after I passed class 12th from the RBSE board I had directly applied for 'Mohanlal Sukhadia University also known as 'University of Science' which is a public University and established in 1962. Thus, no quota was availed from me because I had qualified for the cutoff scores. But students with the low percentage in 12th, which are not qualified for cutoff, got admission by payment sheet (extra fees per year). we can take admission in this public university by filling admission form which is available on their official website 'mlsu.ac.in', Then cutoff scores are set by University and cutoff qualified students' names listed on their official website as a provisional list. counseling day held in this university after listed qualified students, where students have to ready with documents like 12th marksheet, 10th marksheet, T.C., caste certificate, etc. in the University Campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosen this course because I only wanted to go for government jobs and not for any industrial companies, so i am preparing for Govt. competitive exams. Faculty members in this University are well versed in their Subjects and around 200+ faculty are there in University. They are highly qualified upto PhD and knowledgeable and still research in their field. Teachers are very interactive and pay attention to every student while ensuring the collective growth of the class. Annually exams are held in my course which is little difficult, but students can score good marks if they attend classes and pay attention regularly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
MLSU fee structure (2021-22) are B.Sc. - Rs. 4,660/year.
Campus Life :
The University has two campuses spread over an area of more than 600 acres of land and is well-equipped. It consists of four constituent colleges with 38 departments and 60 affiliated colleges from the districts of Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand and Sirohi. It has a full-sized football stadium, hockey ground, basketball court and many other sports facilities. The library is useful, almost all books remain available always and relevant to the current curriculum provided by the university. Many events are held in the University campuses with a large amount of students and teachers like fresher parties, farewell parties and other college events.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels have non-air-conditioner rooms but the hostel has a hygenic mess. Hostels are located in University and there are separate hostels for boys students and girl students. Around Rs.7000 are hostel fees for per year. Hostel environment is fresh and has a big garden with complete greenery.
