Entrance Preview :

No Entrance Exams. Got admission into the college in Management Quota. A counselling was conducted in the college trust office.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college was affiliated to Anna University and so the Curriculum was supplied from Anna University. The Syllabus was quite old trendy where the current automobile industry is highly advanced. The current trend in Automobile will not be taught anywhere in the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, We had a Internship with Ashok Leyland which was the only Internship we had in 4 years. Apart from that we can visit companies and earn internship with our own efforts.

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell in the college, However no companies visited our college during my course period. A company came up for ECE department, where we also attended the interview and 2 got placed in it. There is no Job guarantee from the college end. It's upto the student to get into a job out of his efforts.

College Events :

A number of Symposiums will be conducted in the College for every department individually. Extra Curricular activities will be supported by college in all ways. However it depends upon the support from the department management. Few departments concentrate on studies and few on sports and extra curricular activities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship was offered to students be Anna University based on their caste. Many Students got scholarship in the college which was so useful for them during the college tenure.

Campus Life :

The campus life was so enjoyable and unforgettable. The college changes the life of every student who joins it. The freedom in the college can not be provided by any other. But it depends on the student. Anyone with an ambition can definitely achieve it by college support.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel and the mess food can be rated 2/10. The food can be consumed only for hunger but the quality of the food was so less. The hostel was not equipped with proper things for a Hostel student. However, everything has to be adjusted to survive in the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors helped us only for the books and in curricular activities. They also guided us for earning contacts for job and other things. We never has an opportunity to meet the alumni of the college.

Exam Structure :

The labs are equipped but not with latest Equipment. All the lab experiments can be performed and we have to learn about the experiments on our own. A proper assistance from the staff will not be provided. However, it was knowledgeable as we had learned a lot of things out of our Interest.

Admission :

The form was purchased from the college trust office and a date was informed to me about the counselling. The admission process was too delayed and there was no proper communication from the management. Had to follow up like a Government college and after a great struggle, got admission in the college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
