Entrance Preview :
( IIT, IPU, SRM )and i cleared IPU and SRM with rank almost 21000 but due to high fees I had to leave SRM. The college I got from IPU college had low rating and reviews were bad than gateway institute and campus is smaller. To get admission in GIET you just have to clear simple interview where and have submit required document including report card of 10th and 12th class.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes our college provide internship. But internships are provided after 2nd year. I am still in the 2nd year. But according to the seniors experience internship programme are held during summer vacations. You are trained in good atmosphere with experienced workers. After the end of internship they may hire you permanently and certificate is given.
Placement Experience :
A successful placement is the final outcome of integrating several Employability factors like academic excellence, student performance and proactive placement initiatives. placement initiative is an all encompassing activity which includes industry orientation, personality and soft skill training and development, on job training and campus interviews.
College Events :
There are many technical festivals celebrated in our college. Every year there is a "Corona" fest where celebrity is invited. There is lot of dance and fun in these fest. Annual trips are there. every Saturday there is a local visit to refresh students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The campus has a branch of oriental bank of commerce in which all the banking facilities are provided including ATM facility. Loan facility is also available by simple procedure. Procedure to enable loan facility is very simple. To take loan just go to the registration office in the technical campus and fill a simple form.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel provides a secure atmosphere to all the students. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus. Common rooms are equipped with indoor games, tv sets , newspaper. Good mess ans cafeteria is available. Separate hostel for the boys and girls with AC accommodation . Comfortable and find homely atmosphere. Connect market for daily needs with easy transportation is available.
Exam Structure :
Our college is affiliated to DCRUST university. So the structure is decided by university. Exams are not difficult if you study properly. Class work is for 25 marks. Examination is for 75 marks. So total becomes 100 marks. To clear exam, you have to score at least 30 in the theory out of 75. Duration of examination is 3 hours.
Admission :
I got a call from institute where they invited me to check out their college. I visited their head office (prashant vihar) where they took me interview and also had to fill the form. The teacher who examined me was experienced and himself is a teacher in GIET in ECE department. There , I had to select my course and branch. He explained me the fees structure and rules and regulations of the college .
Faculty :
Most of the faculty members have experience more that 5 years. Faculty is frank with their students so students can share every problems with them. They all are punctual. They use best possible way to teach and help students if there is any problem. From the first day they give their best to transfer their knowledge in the simplest way possible with fun and interest. We are very frank with our faculty.
