Entrance Preview :
I took SRM Entrance examination i.e. SRMEEE-2011 for MCA, my rank was 161, my friend was studying there, so he told to join because he told SRM campus placement is superb.There are two modes of getting admission, first you can opt entrance test and another one is you can go through donation i.e management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
They provided course curriculum, subjects are fine, electives are Programming in C, C++, Data Structure and algorithm, Java or Dot Net, computer mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, computer networks, Computer Graphics, Robotics, Organisational behaviour, Data mining etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No, i am not sure whether my college provides any kind of internship, because i did MCA from here, that time i also asked for these things, but i did not get any satisfactory answers from anyone.
Placement Experience :
Yes the placements and job opportunities of SRM is superb. Those students who have good academics and having 60% throughout their academics they can get huge number of company list for placement, but those having less marks they also get few company. But it totally depends on individual students how they are preparing for campus placements.
College Events :
There are so many cultural events are celebrated inside the college premises, but AARUSH is famous, in this techno festival, so many different kind of exhibition you can see, students from different branches participates. I have noticed some Bollywood actors, singers are invited by the management, so overall experience was like boom.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is quite expensive here, i have paid 150000 rs per year for my tuition fees, and also we paid examination fees per semester that is not added in tuition fees. You have to pay separately, for first semester i paid 3100 rs and for second semester i paid 2600 rs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got education loan and in this matter the college is fully supportive nature. You can get all documents whatever required in bank for sanctioning the education loan very easily.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure was good, exams are conducted followed by cycle test, model test, university exams, then lab test for practical papers. While I am giving university exams i found it was full strict, if anyone found in any kind of malpractices they immediate take action.
Admission :
I got the admission by cracking SRMEEE test, they conducted counselling and after that i attended that counselling and booked my seat in main campus i.e kattankulathur campus, i have filled the SRMEEE form online mode, there only i paid Test fees about 1000 rs.administration is superb here.
Faculty :
When we see the faculty standards, my opinion is it was good, all faculties are highly qualified, some are PHD holder, some are M.Tech holder, and many of them are having more than one degree, the way of teaching was good. When any students ask for any clarification they give their extra time to explain the doubts.
