Remarks :
There are quotas available in every college. And this provides the best education Bachelors in Gujarat. The admission process is basically the same as other colleges. You have to first apply online on the College website and fill the form and submit documents online. Admission for the Bachelor's is totally merit-based and if you are coming merit list then you have to go to the college office and they will suggest how your admission process will go in a particular department.
Course Curriculum Overview :
When I was in 1st year there are totally 3 exams per semester. 1 End semester and 2 internals. But from next year they give us an option and they changed 1 internal exam per semester from 2 internals and in the option, they started taking class tests and assignments rather than internal assessments. In my opinion. I'm a student of Chemistry and for Bachelors in Chemistry it is easy to pass internal in 1st year and External also but for the external exam, the level is some level tough as compare to internal So, if you want distinction or first class then I suggest you score more in internal so you to cover less in external. Exam level is not as tough but you have to prepare completely.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internships you can do in summer vacation or Diwali vacation but college doesn't have any role that provides companies for internships with stipends..You can do an internship as a vocational or training but the college gives only a reference letter to the student who can do an internship related to his/her field. It helps really well to the students to understand the difference between theoretical knowledge and actual practical knowledge which helps to improve the application of knowledge of students.
Placement Experience :
I am not going for placement or an interview but they provide enough information for jobs and if you are a good scorer and performer then you will get a campus interview job. My plan after getting a degree is want to do a master's for further studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college is not providing its private Scholarship, but you will get a scholarship from Digital Gujarat platform if you are coming in Reserved Category. You can also get KVPY scholarship if you already cracked that exam. If you have not any cndition to provide fees so you can also get Freeship Card and can get education for free. Also college is prividing job on campus if you have a good grades in your exam and performance.
Campus Life :
Xavier's College campus is awesome and very well maintained. There are 2 Cricket grounds, Volleyball Ground, Hockey Ground, Football Ground, Basketball Ground and very beauifully maintained garden. They conduct cultural festival every year and give medals and certificate to the winners. Also they give certificate to participants. They conduct sports fest for every possible game and also promote sports and marathon at state level. There are many groups run by college students for students like NSS, NCC, UTKARSH, and more. They are also running social media account like Instagram and Facebook.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a Boys hostel for Xaviers College students in the College Campus and for girls there is outside campus. In Boys hostel, they provide 1 room per 3 students and give 1 bed, study table and cupboard per person. Also, there are 2 fans and tube lights in 1 room. Also, they provide food 2 times a day. Meal quality is good but you have to manage some times. The registration process is on campus and you have to first apply and the rule is it is only for outsiders or not for local Ahmedabadians. It is affordable as a lower price as compared to PG and other hostels. College comes in University Area, Navarangpura. You can also get PG in this area
