Remarks :
I applied for several colleges for several courses and even attended for few days, but left when I got admitted to this college. I fall in the general category having no quotas. The main criteria for admission were to be qualified in the NEET examination, only qualified students are eligible for applying for admissions. I am a resident of j&k and coming so far for admissions was a difficult job, but I came along with the required documents and got admitted the very same day. The hostels are in the campus itself which makes it a lot easier for somebody from the outstate just like me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was a medical aspirant and always had love and respect for this field whether it's Mbbs or Bds. The faculty is quite helpful and patient. The lectures halls are quite spacious with about 80-90 students in each batch thus no pressure or inconvenience is felt. All the faculties are well qualified, understanding, and ready to help. About term examinations, 3 levels of internal examinations are conducted covering all of the syllabi before final examinations, and finally, before the university examinations, a simulatory exam is conducted and that helps alot.
Internships Opportunities :
College gives full intership opportunities to everybody. Thats a good exposure to clinical and extra clinical activities. Several routine camps and checkups and organized. There's no placement opportunity in college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our fee structure is 2.75 lakh per anum excluding hostel charges I think which is normal for a professional degree like bds. There are no scholarship opportunities provided by the college. And about the stipend idk much. Maybe our seniors will be getting during their internships, but that doesn't really matter if you are getting good exposure to clinical practices.
Campus Life :
Our college arranges numerous fests other activities in a year. Everybody takes part even our faculties and helping staffs and thats really fun to watch and participate . A sports week is organized everyyear in campus and enjoyed by everybody. Several visiting camps and informations camps are organized per year. Oral health day is celebrated by organizing awarness camps and free checkups in campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are well ventilated with a duct facility. Rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. It's a 3 sharing room. With the environment and lush green campus. The meal is also good and fresh. You need to register to college management and fill certain forms and formalities and pay fees to accounts sections and thats it.
