Remarks :

I had been admitted through the minority quota. The process was smooth. The office staff were friendly and guided us through the process. I had applied to K J Somaiya and FCRIT Vashi. Chose the latter over the former.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams are pretty time bound. We had weekly tests and IAs were held twice every semester. Exams are of high standards and faculty make sure the tests are set in accordance with the paper format of Mumbai university.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 2021 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are not something that is offered by colleges directly. But one can contact the faculty and they will guide you through the same. There is periodic internship offers that college makes students aware of.

Placement Experience :

Training starts from the 7th semester. A good number of companies visited our campus this year. LTI, TCS, Hexaware, Jio. The average pay package lies somewhere around 3-4 lpa. The highest pay package was 7 Lpa. Most of the students get placed in the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are 1.36 lakhs per annum. Fees remained the same for 4 years. Students coming from families with financial constraints ( less than a certain annual income) can opt for a scholarship as well. No stipend or on campus job offerings.

Campus Life :

Two fests are organised every year - One Cultural (FACES) and other Technical (ETAMAX) The library is well equipped with the latest books, computers and Air conditioned for students to study there at peace. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and 1 computer. Clubs and cells are: Manthan, Rhapsody, Agnel Social Cell, NSS, Drama Club, Music Club

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
