Remarks :

The admission process was centralized for state-level colleges. After the college is offered, the process is pretty straight forward and the college helps during the process. If required, the college also provides counseling help.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is under the University of Mumbai (during my college years 2016-2020), the course structure is formed by the university. My course (Electronics and Telecom) was well structured to start with basics and work it all up to an advanced level. Furthermore, FCRIT takes more effort than any other college to provide assignments and tests. These extra tests really help in maintaining your study pace. Teachers not only help in academics prospects but also provide help by mentoring students with personal issues.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 121000 per year

Placement Experience :

The students of sem 6 and above are eligible for campus placements if they satisfy company criteria. An average package of 4-5 LPA is offered depending on the branch and company. 60-80% of students are placed. College also encourages students to opt for higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provides scholarships for minorities and also subsidized fees according to the yearly income. College is considerate about the financial issues of the students and also provides aid if needed. On-campus jobs vary from 3 to 10 LPA depending on the companies.

Campus Life :

In 2018, opened up its new building infrastructure providing better lab facilities and workshop facilities for further development of the students. There are many student committees and clubs at college departmental levels. Classrooms are spacious and ventilated. The college encourages students to participate in various competitions on all levels. The library is well-equipped with books under the curriculum.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
