Remarks :
The admission process was very smooth. All the volunteers helped in every situation. Teachers were also guiding us throughout the admission. I have taken admission through the quota and I did not face any problem during the admission process. The minimum marks required to take admission in B.A(H) Economics is 95% for the general category. Marks vary for admission according to the category of the student. On the orientation day, they told us about the college and all the societies and departments of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was good at Economics in my 12th standard. Faculty: The student ratio is good in the college. There is 1 teacher for every 10 students. All the teachers are well qualified and their teaching method is too good that no student faces any problem in learning. There are term exams every 6 months and it depends on how much you have studied to pass. You have to study regularly throughout the year otherwise it will be very difficult for you to pass the exam. Also, internals happens for every subject every month.
Internships Opportunities :
There is an Internship fair that happens every year conducted by the society Vyapaar. A lot of companies come to that fest. I have not done any internships from college so I have no idea about the companies and roles offered. You can also apply for an internship outside of the college. I have done an internship in my 2nd year at IFCI Ltd. I applied for that internship on my own.
Placement Experience :
You are eligible for campus placement in your last year. You can apply for pavements in your 5th and 6th semester. An average of 70% of students gets placement. KPMG, EY, Teach for India are the top companies visit for the placement. The highest package students get is approx. 9 lakhs per an um. 70% of the students get placement. After getting the degree, I have planned to study for government exams. I have not applied for any placement, all the details that I have provided are based on what my friends told me about their placement.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees structure is good, the fee structure is not too high. And the Cost to study is not so high. Anyone can afford it. I do not know anything about scholarships As I did not apply for any. The placement cell of the college is good, it has placement records by leading MNCs. Students in their last year can apply for the placement. KPMG, EY, Teach For India are some of the companies that come to our college for placement. The Highest package students get is approx. 9 lakhs per annum. 70% of the students got placement from our course.
Campus Life :
Life at the Campus is amazing, you will love to be a part of DCAC. The crowd of the college is too good and descent. The infrastructure of the college is not that good and not well maintained also. The annual fest of the college is Ambrosia which happens every year in the even semester. Almost all the books and newspapers are available in the Library. All the classrooms have proper lighting and ventilation. The projector is not available in all the classrooms just some of the classrooms have projector facilities. Sports facilities are good in the college and the playground is too big, there is a basketball court also. Extracurricular activities happen regularly in the college so that your college life does not seem to be boring.
