Remarks :
My college name is Bengal college of engineering technology. and I am a regular student. No, I have not aplied for any quota admission. The admission is very simple you should have 60% in 12th and 10th that's all. In my college, there are 7 branches. The admission process is very simple to go to the college direct and pay the tuition fee, choose the branch and you got the admission. If you have wbjee or itjee rank then you can also take the admission from the rank, there is no extra charge.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In my college there are 7 branches mainly name as: 1.Compute science engineering(CSE) 2.Information technology(IT) 3.ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING(EE) 4.ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING(EEE) 5.MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (ME) 6.CIVIL ENGINEERING(CE) 7. ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING(ECE) Each batch has 8 to 9 faculty members. My branch is Information technology. I chose this branch because of my interest in hardware and the internet that is how the internet works and any other electrical machine work. Each branch has 120 students and each branch has 8 to 9 faculty member qualifications of all teachers are Ph.D. or M.tech. all the teachers are good in the field of study and cooperation. understanding is good and teaching is also good. The exams are happened timely. In my college, there are 2 seasonal exams and 1-semester exam in 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
fametronix company offered 6 month paid internship and 3 company projects and after that 2 year job in the comoany same as buyjus is offering \
Placement Experience :
If a student is in the 6th semester or 4th year then he/she can become eligible for placement. byjus, fametronix,TCS, etc, and offers are a package of 4 to 5 lacs p.a, mobile data pack free, transportation free, etc. The highest package is 7 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum for system engineer post to get the job in a reputed company with a good package after the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is 84780 for 6 months and 25000 for a hostel. In the hostel, it includes 2 beds and 2 almirahs and 2 keys for the door and 2 sockets for charging your laptop and phone. The total cost of the b.tech 4-year program is around 8 lakhs including a hostel. There is no scholarship for other students however there is a scholarship for west Bengal students who take admission in the college. The placement status of our college is around 70-80%. The minimum package is 4 lacs per annum for b.tech students and a maximum of 7 lacs per annum.
Campus Life :
In my college, there are many sports, cultural programs. some of the sports are cricket, badminton, etc and essay writing competition is there and lots of them. In my college, there is a big library in which lots of books including 7 branches books, magazines, some master graduate books all the branch classrooms are neat and clean with a projector attached. cricket, badminton, NSS program, etc. NSS group is there.
Hostel Facilities :
In my hostel room, there is two bed,two-door key, one door, one window, two led bulb,two-socket for mobile charging, two study table. the meal is good in meal, include breakfast, lunch evening snacks, and dinner in breakfast, chole bhutore, etc. in lunch rice, dal, one sabzi, and papad, in evening snacks, samosa, etc. in dinner rice, roti, dal, sabzi, papad.
