A college with a Good Infrastructure in an Affordable Cost

Remarks :

I've applied to Asansol Engineering College but the fees there was around 20k high compared to BCET with all the same facilities. The admission process is so simple colleges take admission based on WBJEE counselling and JEE Mains scores. There are no minimum marks and age criteria for taking admission to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had a knee interest in computer software so I opt for this course. The faculty students ratio is good but not perfect need to introduce more faculty members. All the faculty members are highly qualified and their method of teaching is good but few of them are excellent. Exams are based on a MAKAUT basis and it's easy to pass the exam if you study well

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is being offered by multiple companies like Ardent, NIVT, Globsyn etc the role they provide as a Developer with no stipend. My project was to build a fully responsive website using MERN Stack.

Placement Experience :

From your 6th Semester end, you'll be getting companies to arrive at your college for placements. On a Total of more than 80+ companies visit the college campus the highest offered is 15 LPA and the Average package is 5 LPA. 15 LPA was offered by Byjus & PayPal and the Average package of 5 LPA was offered by Startups and some reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant etc. Almost 60% of the students get placed during the placement season and the rest go for higher studies and others. I'm planning to get employment in a reputed company as a software developer.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Every year there is a hike of 1000 INR in the fees for every branch and every program you're enrolled in but I'd say the cost to study is fair in terms of other colleges. You can avail all types of Central as well as State Government scholarships in this college the Finance Department is helpful. I got placed in 2 companies (Internship) and the stipend I got in my training period is 12k per month

Campus Life :

College organizes fests every year since in this pandemic it's not possible right not to organise any fest. All types of books are available in the college library and they're issued free of cost during your program duration Classrooms are equipped with all the amenities which is required for a student. We have a huge playground for sports events and events held at the college campus are pretty frequently for sports. There are a total of 5 clubs in the college touching every corner of your program for IT, Robotics, Social Service etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
