Remarks :

I first applied to the college where I am currently studying, the admission was completed by physical mode as well I registered myself for the college on the online government portal for registration. Minimum marks for admission in B.Sc. Biotech coarse was 45% and above in PCB, 12th. I successfully qualified for the admission criteria without any hustle. After counseling me and my family was assured of all the usefulness of the studying curriculum, and various facilities offered by the institute.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose B.Sc. Biotechnology consists of biotechnology, chemistry & computer science combination as I am getting the opportunity to specialize in the two best kinds of fields computer science with biotechnology this will be very helpful in our prospects. Every faculty is a doctorate in their specialized field, Ph.D. faculties are teaching and guiding us excellently. Faculty-student ratio 1\10 Their teaching was so much supporting in our tough exams as we don't have to worry about anything.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is offered in the following companies-: 1-: Sahara evols Internship program in electric vehicle 2-: 3M CII YICA One month internship program. Internship programs are offered along with that they offered many certificate courses in each subject of interest.

Placement Experience :

From the final year, students are eligible for placement, career development cell of college prepares students for their interview and personality. About 80% of students got placement in top companies. My plan after getting the degree is to specialize in subject higher studies as well as join a good job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, the fees structure is affordable with scholarships also provided for meritorious students as well as there were so many kinds of scholarship supports offered from the government that is also made available to students. There is career developed cell that grooms students for the placements and best jobs.

Campus Life :

So many social groups are present in college, science, literature, music, digital, technological, photography, environment awareness, fun activity, etc. For students, skill development and implementation college conduct various events and sessions every week organize by student-driven committees and faculties. Entrepreneurship development cell is also hear to groom students personalities to develop professional and work etiquette, entrepreneurial abilities in students which also encourage for startups and business. So much big library filled with many editions and different versions of books, article, news papersetc.

Placement Experience:

After the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Currently, we are in the 5th semester and ours is the first batch still we didn't get to see the placements. Soon we'll be opting for placements. My plan after my degree is to go to further studies, opting for M.Sc.

Remarks:

Holkar Science College is one of the topmost govt. college of Madhya Pradesh. It ranks in top 10 science college of India. Everything is perfect in college. Teachers are rude sometimes but many times they are very frank and helpful in nature. Principal of college(silawat sir ) is very sensitive for student's education. Education quality is increased in last year and building of college is re-innovate by silawat sir. I came to know about College by my senior who studied in this college.

Admission:

Admission is based on the percentage of class 12th. For maths students cut off is very high. My friends who got 95% in class 12th, got admission in first round but in clc round students who scored 85 or above can get admission.

We had merit rank based admission procedure at that time to secure a sheat .One should have one minimum required percentage on previous exams and at merit rank one can take admission for various courses.

Placement Experience:

It all was dependent on one's self. We never experienced campus interveiws and direct placements. We never had internships for under graduate Degree courses. Only some of the departments like Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Gel logical Science had some palacement along with internships companies Galaxo, Ranbaxy, Lupin and Geological Survey India, some other mining MNCs had palacment interviews.
