Remarks :

I applied to several colleges but the major reason I chose to be a part of the Jagran Family is the nurturing environment. The admission after my application led me to a formal Interview with the Program Leader. The minimum Eligibility is like the other colleges of min. 60% but to get a 100% scholarship one has to get a minimum of 90% in their 12th class. After my selection through the Interview, there was a 3-day orientation program at a different level, First, we were addressed by the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and Registrar at the university level. On the second day we were addressed by the Founders and Directors of the School Of Commerce and Economics and lastly on the third by the Program Leader on the Course level.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.Com (Hons.) as my course as it the most premium degree in Bachelor's for a Commerce student, the syllabus provides introductory to advanced level of knowledge in accountancy, application of management principles and also a great awareness to many of the other subjects such as Law, EVS, International Business, etc. There are at least 2 faculty for the same subject topic to teach, although the assigned faculty have been really supportive and never had to miss out or substitute any topics. All the faculties are of Ph.D. qualification or at least triple-masters (i.e. studied 3 different master's courses), they are always there to help out and clear out any doubts as many times we ask. The exams are of moderate level for the ones who are attentive in class, as everything in the curriculum and practical things are extensively discussed, those who do not very attentive face quite some difficulties later on.

Internships Opportunities :

There is a separate IR department that maintains Industrial Relations with top recruiters and companies offering internships to students at JLU from different programs. The courses which have compulsory internship prepare an Internship Report and Present it to The Pannel.

Placement Experience :

Even during the Lockdown our University conducted the First and biggest Virtual Fair for Placements and Internships with top recruiters such as Amazon, Flipkart, The Oberoi Group, The Leela's, etc. JLU offers 100% placements. I will go for my master in Business Administration after my bachelor's.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I believe after all the resources and the improvements implemented from time to time in the curriculum, also being a Global Unversity and recognized by QS Gauge for the Platinum Ranking the fees are appropriate and have a great Return on Investment. The Scholarship of 50%, 75%, and 100% are awarded to the ones who have secured 82% to 92% and above in their 12th also the ones who secure good marks further in their course period are awarded similar scholarships

Campus Life :

Life at JLU is the best, all the sports and cultural events are done twice a month, there are so many opportunities to learn and lead people, there are so many events related to the course, sports, cultural activities, international exposures and whatnot that I didn't even hear of before I entered the university. If one actively participates in these events there is a sure chance of having a lot of experience for the future as well as memories. The Library is of 2 floors having all the books related to the course and also different references and novels. Classrooms are well equipped with smart projectors, ventilation, AC (in most of the classes), and of course tables and seats. There are clubs for all, be it outdoor activities, sports, literature, E-Sports, Photography, Social Services, etc.

Interview Experience :

I had a preliminary screening over my 12th marks, then a PI by Admission Counsellor, and finally a PI by the Program Leader of Bachelor's in Commerce- Hons. Once I was done with the PI by both the respective Interviewers, I could take the final step of paying the First Installment for my 1st semester of B.Com (Hons).

The curriculum of the studies is good as it is decided by the devi ahilya Vishwa vidyalaya. The syllabus gets updated every year to cope with relevance to college every year. Generally the courses there are yearly basis hence students have to give examination once in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to prepare of the ssc exam and for that I chose bcom taxation. The course curriculum prepares good for the real world application and give knowledge about the tax and accounting process. The teachers should explain in a manner that should interest the student rather than just reading and solving the questions. Frequency of exam is good and the difficulty level is mid not that hard.

This college are affiliated to DAVV indore , so on curriculum activities and , other sports, music dance club , offers more opportunities to explore myself. The negative point that is , their are no internal or mid semester exams , so I will affect on , annually examination, students have no idea about questions pattern The positive point are they conduct , crash course 1 month before of , annually examination, and revision class , practical.... They also conduct PUT, PUT STANDS FOR PRE UNIVERSITY TEST , PUT like mock test , of the examination.
