Remarks :

Our college Management is very good they were providing with all facilities . If we require any additional they used to provide us at the earliest.

Entrance Preview :

I have written GATE 2102 exam and qualified. I have got 6100 rank and when i went to counselling I have an opportunity in this college. This is one of the autonomous college and which have good record.

Course Curriculum Overview :

M.tech in Power systems is one of the major course for an electrical engineer. In this course we can understand the structure of power systems in details. There is a lot of research going in this area, Our course was well organized. There were four semesters in this course.

Internships Opportunities :

No, there is no internships in our college. However they were guiding us to do internships out side the college. They were guiding us how to obtain internships.

Placement Experience :

In our college we were having a separate Placement cell who will be co-ordinating with private companies and they used to arrange placement drive in our college it self.Our college has good track record in placements. Every year at least 80% of the students will be obtaining the job.

College Events :

Every year there would be an International Conference in Recent Trends in Electrical Engineering. In 2013 april there was an IEEE conference organized in our college. Every college management was also celebrating Annual Day function. Before they were conducting many sports and educational activities and distribute the prizes on the day of function.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

When we compared to other colleges our college Fees Structure is quite high. For B.Tech it is 80,000 per year and for M.tech it was Rs 67500. But they were providing good facilities in terms of library, sports, gym. Laboratories. Medicine cell was also provided.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have qualified in GATE so MHRD used to provide me stipend of about 8K per month. How ever for other students college used to provide merit scholarships. Bank loans are also available.

Campus Life :

Student and Campus life is the one which we can get back again in my life. In our batch we were about 48 members out of that 35 were male and 13 were female. When we compare to over all the college the ratio was 3:1. Every year before annual day various sports were organized and prizes were distributed.

Hostel Facilities :

Our college was provided with Hostel facility only for girls The hostel rooms were 2 shared and three shared . The rooms were very clean and regularly maintained. The food was awesome in the hostel. Weekly twice they used to provide Non-Veg. For boys there were some private hostels the charges were quite moderate. For year they used to charge around Rs.20-25K.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college is having large database of alumni. Every year management organizes alumni meet in the college or some times they will organize in major cities.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure were very well organized. In each semester we were having two Internals and One external exams. The same would be applied for Labs also. For each internal we would be getting at least 45-55 days. After second internal we were receiving about 2 weeks for external exams.

Admission :

I have attended counselling in JNTU Anantapur, I have kept my options in web counselling and after few days I have received this seat in my first counselling it self. The counselling was online counselling where we have to give number of options which we would like.

Faculty :

Our college staff were very excellent and they were having very in depth knowledge. We were having some of the lectures who were doctorates. They have guided us very well. They would always encourage us to do the research work. They were teaching very well.

Admission:

We need to attempt GATE entrance exam and basing on the score we can enter up gitam basing on the score we can choose up what branch we can enter up and we can have our branch opted there basing on the seats left out.

Placement Experience:

As of now IT sector is but low and from 2019 placements were bad in gitam as tcs in one of the good mass recruiting campus for gutak but from past years it’s totally changed this brought an huge effect in placements

Best regarding in terms of management and infrastructure. There is no bad remarks for this college. This reputed college has huge demand only because of the placements it provides for every qualified student. This single advantage makes this college ranked 20 all over the India.

Entrance Preview:

PGECET was the entrance exam and i scored well in that exam. I opted for this particular college for such a unique branch systems and signal processing.

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are good. Here in this college placement and training is standing on their own feet. As it is a government reputed college there is scope to get better placements. Top companies like TCS and few are approaching. they provied a very good packages around 3.0 lakh.

Remarks:

Though the college is high rated and renowned as the one of the best in the country basic facilities such as drinking water, toilets are not provided. Neatness is minimum. Class rooms are not cleaned. Campus is not maintained properly.
