Remarks :

All in all, I has my fair share of fun in the college. College had a lot to offer and explore. The campus was amazing.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for Haryana State Counseling Entrance Exam for admission to MCA course. I was ranked 243 All India. I found the college infrastructure good at the first sight. Also few of my seniors told me about the well qualified and experienced faculty. Overall, it helped me become more mature and take on new responsibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

With focus and will to learn the educational process and curriculum was an enjoyable experience. the course curriculum was good and accurate. I could successfully make the transition with the working world. Plans were implemented to work out for each semester schedule and regular test series.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, definitely my college provides internship period of 6 months as in the last semester of MCA (6th semester). Students are placed in various companies based on the respective recruitment processes which includes written test, interviews and group discussions as well. Students can either choose for on-campus placement or off-campus placement and stipend depends on the company recruiting. It may give a stipend of Rs.0 - Rs. 15,000.

Placement Experience :

I passed out in 2010 and currently 2016 going on. I seriously do not remember much about which all companies came to the campus and how much did they off but yes I do remember about one such company GIIT Solutions in Sec-15, Gurgaon which offered me Rs. 10,000 salary after 6 months internship period with no stipend in the internship. I did not join there as I was much interested in teaching profession and later joined as TGT Computers in Bhatnagar International School, Vasant Kunj teaching classes IX-XII.

College Events :

Our college used to organize a get together every year for all Alumnis. It used to be a grand event from morning till the evening. Students were awarded with scholarships for those who ranked top in the University examinations. Also the college used to organize a Freshers party welcoming the freshers by the senior students. Party was hosted by the seniors and used to comprise of a small cultural event, dance and food.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure was nominal. I think I paid around Rs. 70,000 p.a including Transportation fee (college bus facility for commuting from Delhi to Gurgaon and vice versa). Since my admission was through Haryana Counseling there was no other fee charged, it was just a combination of the Haryana state Counseling fee along with the college fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not sure whether any kind of loan facility was provided by the college or not. But yes a small amount in the form of scholarship was given to the first three toppers of the college who ranked well in their semester examination.

Campus Life :

The campus life in college was amazing. There were regular workshops for Personality Development classes for all course students to enhance our personality skills for the purpose of appearing in interviews and group discussions. We were told about human psychology, ego, feeling good about yourself, self discipline, anger etc.

Hostel Facilities :

I was not staying in the college hostel. I used to up and down daily from Delhi to Gurgaon via college bus and used to carry my own food along. So I have never tried or tasted the mess food and no knowledge about the hostel and hostel rooms, PGs and average rentals.

Alumni/Alumna :

Not in much contact with my seniors now but yes they were quite helpful as and when needed. Mostly the hostel groups were more attached to each other as compared to the students who used to up and down daily to the college.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure was a relaxing one with regular semester exams but a proper schedule informed well in advanced through the university website. Regular tests were conducted for revision and recapitulation but these tests never made our day hectic. I got to explore topics I wanted to know more about.

Admission :

As said earlier, I appeared for Haryana State Counseling Examination for admission to MCA course 2007-10. I was ranked 243 All India. I got direct admission based on the Counseling process. In the first counseling session I went to the college directly to submit my documents required for the admission procedure. They were verified and given back to me.

Faculty :

They are smart and experts in their fields. They are cool and always willing to share their information. They give opportunities to make us participate in group discussions, college activities, personality development classes and sessions etc. Overall, the faculty id well qualified and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No extra course, academic examination is held on time. No any real world application work. Never complete any course on time . Always giving unnecessary assignment and teaching methods is not so good all teachers come and show ppt and given lecture.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are satisfactory, with many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. However, the placement process for my batch will commence in late July, so I will be able to provide a more detailed assessment at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is outdated, and is mostly theory based. Even in computer science the practical subjects are taught theoretically, and programming languages are not taught well. Major effort is required from the faculty members. The curriculum does not help with real world applications or any skill related fields. As for difficulty level, I would say the curriculum and exam pattern is of very basic level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because i had done my Bachelors form compters that's why i found it to be more appealing course. I am unaware of exact ratio but my guess is per teacher there may be around 60 student or more. They are kind of avergae in teaching method ,however some teacher are exceptional with wide and diverse knowledge. There are some review methods but i find them irrelevant. The exams are held twice a year with a mid difficulty scheme.

Yes, the campus provides placement. It's mostly like 2 times in 1 Semester and even if we are not eligible they still accept students to interview for their experience and there are also classes for communication skills for giving good expression in interview.
