Remarks :
The candidates applying for B.A. (Hons.) degree are supposed to write down an entrance examination called JSAT. If you are applying for an integrated course that includes two degrees in six years then you could opt for giving the LSAT India examination which will later provide you admission for 3 years of Bachelors Law after the first Bachelor's degree. I have received the scholarship for merit cum means, there are various different opportunities provided too, based on your merit and scores. The admission process was a cakewalk, it was simple and precise followed by an interview round to test the eligibility of the candidate.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is a mixture of both Indian and International professors. The student-to-faculty ratio is around 35:1. The faculty uses different methods to teach the students and is always available for any queries and doubts regarding the course. There are various opportunities for exposure if you stay on campus and during the internship period, you could work under any professor as well or with the help of their guidance.
Internships Opportunities :
The office of career services works throughout the clock and ensures to provide the best opportunities of internships at international NGOs national NGOs government organizations think tanks as well as various other things. The internships are mostly non-paid but you would apply for a stipend as well depending on the kind of organization you are interning under.
Placement Experience :
So far students are placed in NGOs international organizations think tanks and foreign embassies. The office of career services helps the students in applying the placement as well as internships all along the course. However, students can apply for any of these on their own as well. Internships are mandatory in a university which helps to create an excellent CV.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is a little expensive as compared to other universities but if you see all the opportunities provided by the university then the fee is actually pretty reasonable. There are various scholarships and fee reduction methods which one could apply for if you are eligible and I think that these are really efficient in terms of financial help.
Campus Life :
The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and fully air-conditioned. there is a 24-hour functioning pharmacy as well as a medical center at the university. The food quality is pretty good and you get a lot of varieties at the mess. There are many food outlets on the campus as well which gives us a chance to eat whatever we wish to. The hostel rooms are pretty amazing. There is a sports Arena, a gym, as well as a huge field, and the overall infrastructure of the University, is excellent. As for the cultural and social life of the students, there are a lot of fests organized inside the university and there are various societies as well as clubs which are open to the students and they could apply for the club or society of their choice and along with that, there are various celebrations of different occasions and festivities around the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
We have 11 hostels as of now and they are they have great infrastructure as well as accommodation and facilities provided at the hostel are pretty amazing. We have big spacious rooms which one has to share with either two or three roommates. The hostels are inside the campus and are guarded at all times either a quick with any kind of facility that a student needs.
Interview Experience :
For the admission process, one has to fill out the application form of the course that he or she is applying for and after that, you have to give an entrance test called the JSAT or LSAT. Following the marks you have scored in the entrance examination you will get a call for an interview based on the performance of your entrance as well as your high school marks and essays that you have submitted in the application for the course. The test the general ability of the student during the interview. it is a smooth process overall.
