Remarks :

The admission criteria of MBA program in Pondicherry University, first one is in your bachelor degree 50% percent minimum marks required, My admission process is firstly I paid fees through online after that I uploaded all the required documents on a link provided by University.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to learn management skills that's why I chose this course. All the faculty of this department are very good and the teaching methods of these faculty are very good. They conduct exams as per schedule of University very timely, I didn't find any difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size : 140Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

From the beginning of the 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visiting the campus. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. About 90% of students getting placements and the rest of 10 percent are those students who applied for the research programmes. My plan after getting the degree is I worked for a multinational company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to the MBA program, the fees are affordable. There are many scholarships like MOMA, state government scholarship, Central government scholarship. I didn't get any scholarship because my father is a government employee and his salary is more than 2 lakh per annum.

Campus Life :

Due to the covid 19 pandemic, i was visited our campus only for 3 days for the verification of our original documents I feel that time in 3 days the campus life is very good, Social life of the campus is very good the students of the campus are very helpful and the infrastructure of the campus is very good.

Interview Experience :

Due to covid GD and interview program are canceled. They select on the basis of cat score. Other criteria for admission are the selection for the interview and GD on the basis of CAT score. That's why you must give the CAT exam.

Before the end of third semester the placement cell becomes active and companies start visiting the campus Companies mostly Banking and Sales come for recruitment Last year highest placement was of 13-15L PA After COVID placement has dropped to 40-50% One can go for UGC nET exam before finishing their degree for job and career security.

Pondi uni- a study heaven

Remarks:

I chose to study in pondi because of the environment of the place. Another reason being I did not find any other suitable college to study this course. After doing some research, this college was still open for admissions and so I applied here. The national ranking of this college is 63 according to NIRF, it is UGC approved as well.The admission process is based totally based on merit, group interview and followed by a personal interview. So i feel lucky to get a seat in this prestigious college, and also for the application fee, I paid rs 1000.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is about 60%. We had to apply for placements after which recruiters would give out the further details of the job role. The process was followed by personal interview, and in some it was written tests as well as GD rounds followed by a personal interview. The companies that visited for my department were makemytrip, thomas cook, Cognizant and pickyourtrail. The average package starts from 2.5 lakhs p.a and can reach upto 10 lakhs pa. I got a job from the placement cell as well in Thomas Cook as an HR and my annual package was 3.5 lakhs pa.

Pondicherry entrance exam. I have appallied for MBA insurance, tourism, international bussinessI got selected 4 insurance and 4 international bussiness i was in waiting list.I got the selected letter from insurance. so the scope was good for insurance so i have joined it.
