Remarks :
I applied to Jagran Lakecity Business School and sat for an entrance test to be eligible for the BMS course. This test also helped avail scholarship of the performance was above average. Then, the minimum score in 12th grade was to be 50% to get into the school. I did secure a 10% scholarship. The admission process and counselling day were smooth and welcoming. Each person I met was enthusiastic about having me over and a brilliant job was done on the infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My inclination for Entrepreneurial Studies was why I took up the course. I feel we had amazing Professors a team of close to 12 for each program and then we had faculty guest speakers, lecturers so the ratio was amicable. Most of the faculties were Post Graduates heading for PhDs and submissions. About the teaching methods, Professors had their unique sense of taking every class with us. As far as mid-semester and end semester tests are concerned they were quite interesting. If you are not prepared that means it can be all ranges of difficult so test prep plays a significant role.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We had a consistent fee every semester except in the first where there are other fees included during admission. Faced no fees hike back then. There is financial assistance and various scholarships- academic, sports, entrance tests, based on 12th-grade points etc. I didn't opt for campus drive but was the Overall Coordinator for the Placement cell for 1 year in the business school. We provide 100% assistance to prep and appear in the on-campus placement drive.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of festivals and fairs conducted to get excellent opportunities in interacting with the CXOs, Professors from eminent institutions and foreign national students. The library is equipped with a lot of books and journals. Class amenities suffice but the students need to be careful when using them. I was the captain of the basketball team for girls and had an amazing time with all the coaches and teammates. We have many sports-related activities and now a school dedicated to Physical Education Sciences to pursue further. On-campus a lot of activities were curated to execute how students want to take an event and club at a different level leaving a legacy.
