Remarks :

The reason for choosing this college was the scholarship provision, infrastructure, placement rate, experimental learning techniques and the faculty member. Also, before taking admission in this college, I visited the official website of this college and saw the facilities and other norms. Previously, I had appeared in the MAT exam so, I applied for this college. Further, on the basis on marks acquired in MAT exam, I got shorlisted for GD and PI round which I cleared and get into it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opt for the PGDM course because it has good scope and demand in corporate firms. Also, I have deep interest in marketing sector. Moreover, as a part of the curriculum, our college organises an industrial visit to provide in-depth knowledge about the regulations and practices in industries. Also, I got to go through soft skills and personality development training. Besides, we have highly qualified and experienced core faculties, research associates and guest faculty as well from academic and industry background to bestow the educational plan in most effective way and share their experiences too where they have worked in.

Placement Experience :

The placement of my college is very nice and the hiring organisations that visited our campus till now are Aircel, Applabs, Bank of America, Axis Bank, Asianpaints and many others. The highest and the average package offered till now is 6 LPA and 4 LPA respectively. I have not been a part of the placement session yet but almost all my seniors got on-campus placement. However, a few of them went for off campus placement. Further, after getting my degree I will join a corporate form and will gain experience there and then will decide for the future.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for my course is 6.5 lakh for 2 years excluding hostel and food charges. However, due to the scholarship of Rs. 100000 that I got, my college fee got lessened. So, I paid 5.5 lakh for 2 years. And yes, my college provides merit- based scholarships of Rs. 200000 to min. of 25000 based on marks scored in CAT, MAT/XAT/CMAT and ATMA exam.I have no idea about further changes they can make but for now, there is no fee hike policy

Campus Life :

The campus life of my college is outstanding as we are encouraged to to take part in the extra- curricular and co-curricular activities. Events like college fests,, conferences, cultural fests, sports fests take place in March-April. We have management functional clubs of which I am also a part, also toast masters clubs, and activities for adult literacy, wo meet-the-manager, blood donation camp, NGO assistance, women empowerment are organized every year. Above all, we have a library with more than 23000 volumes and 8000 titles well-equipped campus gym, sports and games facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

I preferred to stay in on campus hostel and the facilities being provided here is too good. I got a personal locker and reading table, lamp, 24 hours wifi connectivity, laundry service, hot water supply, water cooler, electricity backup, and canteen as well. Moreover, when my parents visited my college, they got room to stay. So, these kind of facilities I get here. Apart from this, the meals are included with accommodation, where I get breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner in a day and of awesome quality and fully hygienic.

Admission :

After I got shorlisted on the basis of marks scored in MAT exam, I faced GD and PI round. In GD round, we were given a topic for discussion and after clearing that round, I was called for Personal Interview round where questions related to my previous academics, weaknesses and strengths were asked. Also, they checked my presence of mind and mental ability by asking situation based question. To prepare for GD and PI round I kept myself from current affairs for GD round and I was several interview videos asked in IIM and other management colleges on youtube for PI round.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.

Placement Experience:

There are placements prvided by our college. They claim to give 98 percent placements but the process is a bit hard. So there are 2 exams of aptitude conducted by college before we can even get in. So after we pass both the exams we will be trained and sent for interviews.
