AU COLLEGE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES. I JOINED THIS COLLEGE THROUGH AN ENTRANCE EXAMINATION CALLED AS EAMCET. SINCE I JOINED RECENTLY IN THIS COLLEGE I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT BUT EVERYONE SUGGESTED ME TO PREFER THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE OF ITS HIGH CERTIFICATE VALUE. SINCE THIS IS AN GOVT. BASED UNIVERSITY THE CONDITIONS OF CLASSROOM AND OTHER RESOURCES ARE NOT UPTO THE MARK. SINCE IT IS A VERY OLD UNIVERSITY ESTABLISHED IN 1928 I PREFERRED IT OVER ANY OTHER INSTITUTION. HOPE MY 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS COLLEGE WOULD LEAD ME TO A BETTER PERSPECTIVE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B PHARMACY IS A PROFESSIONAL COURSE. I WAS ALWAYS INTERESTED IN THIS. AS YOU ALL ARE SEEING TODAY THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE VACCINES ARE PREPARED BY PHARMACISTS ONLY. SO THIS IS A PERFECT COURSE WITH AN EXCELLENT SCOPE IN THE FUTURE SO THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED CAN JOIN. TALKING ABOUT FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO I CAN SAY APPROXIMATELY IT'S 1 IS TO 8. ALL THE FACULTY MEMBERS HAVE OF COURSE A GOOD TEACHING EXPERIENCE. SOME ARE DOING THEIR PH.D. SOME HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THEIR MASTERS IN PHARMACY. SO I DON'T HAVE ANY PARTICULAR CONS ON THIS TOPIC. THE TEACHING METHOD IS ALSO GOOD. FACULTY GIVE THEIR BEST SO THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS CLEARLY. TERM EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED EVERY 3 MONTHS AND THEY ARE NOT TOO TOUGH OR TOO EASY, RATHER U CAN SAY IT'S AVERAGE, SO ONE WHO HAS A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUBJECT CAN PERFORM VERY WELL IN THE EXAM.

Class Size : 49Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience :

WE ALSO HAVE A GOOD NO OF PLACEMENTS PROVIDED HERE WITH TOP PHARMACY COMPANIES VISITING. TALKING ABOUT PLACEMENT PERCENTAGE IT MAY VARY FROM 90-95 %. THE PACKAGE MAY VARY FROM 30000 TO 45000. MY PLAN AFTER RECEIVING THE DEGREE IS TO DO M PHARMACY AND THEN IF POSSIBLE I WILL ALSO GIVE A TRY FOR DRUG INSPECTOR.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SO TALKING ABOUT THE FEE STRUCTURE AS U ALL KNOW IT'S NOT VERY HIGH IN GOVERNMENT INSTITUTES. FIRSTLY U HAVE TO PAY THE ADMISSION FEE THAT IS 5500 RS AND THEN U HAVE TO PAY 10000RS FOR EACH ACADEMIC YEAR. BUT IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP IT IS WELL AND GOOD. YOU JUST HAVE TO PAY THE ADMISSION FEE THAT IS 5500RS AND THEN YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY EVEN A SINGLE RUPEE FOR YOUR ACADEMIC YEARS. IT MEANS IT WILL COST YOU JUST 5500RS FOR B PHARMACY COURSE AT ANDHRA UNIVERSITY. THE NAME OF THE SCHOLARSHIP IS JAGANANNA VASATHI DEEVENA AND JAGANANNA VIDYA DEEVENA.

Campus Life :

TALKING ABOUT THE LIBRARY AND BOOKS YOU HAVE THE GREATEST LIBRARY THE VS KRISHNA LIBRARY. YOU HAVE ALL KINDS OF BOOKS PROVIDED HERE. THIS IS THE BEST LIBRARY I WILL EVER SEE. TAKING ABOUT AMENITIES IN THE CLASSROOM I WOULD SAY THE ENVIRONMENT AND NATURE ???? IN MY CLASSROOM IS SO SATISFYING. COLD BREEZE ARE ALWAYS FLOWING THROUGH THE WINDOW. YOU ALSO HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SPORTS PROVIDED HERE SO THAT ANYONE INTERESTED COULD PARTICIPATE.

In this college all the students get placement with 97% placement rate In 7th semester you got eligible for placement Our college visit different companies like omega ,divis lab ,hetero lab etc., The company offers average about 3.2 lakhsperannum and higher is 12 lakhs per annum Every student get placement even below 60 % My plan is after degree study m.pharm or abroad for masters

AU COLLEGE PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE'S

Placement Experience:

1)After the last but one semester, we have opportunities for placements, n we also have many placement opportunities here. 2) Many popular n best industrial companies visit our college for placements n also packages offers we get also be best 3) It has a high package compared to other private colleges. As the highest is 5 L per annum n lowest packages 2.6L .. For just b pharmacy here can get us 25k-30 k per month. It is a far good package compared to another college 4) Max 90% of students get placements here 80% get good internships.All are of good package 5) I am planning of pursuing an MBA or M pharmacy after this degree
