Remarks :

it is one of the best colleges to attend in Pune. good aspects of the college are that it consists of great teachers from whom you can learn lots of things. with subjective study, they also help you in NET/SET examination. the college has a spacious area and a great library where many varieties of the book are available. besides, studying there you get both subjective and objective knowledge. This time because of covid-19 they did not conduct an entrance exam and took admission based on merit. usually, if you are applying for the college you will get the information on the college website[homepage]. why apply for this college: 1.reasonable fees, 2.great opportunities after passing from this college, 3. good placements. while selecting this college I read collegedunia.com reviews and asked my friends.

Course Curriculum Overview :

because I want to give the NET/SET exam for becoming a lecturer and it has good placements also as a second option. they have 42 courses so according to that they have a pretty good ratio. in my class there are 58 students exactly. everyone has cleared the Net/Set exam, Some are doctorate, others have done PHD, actually, they are pretty excellent in their field. even their teaching method is purely interactive and they focus on quality content. term exams are two in total, with two internals. passing exams all depends upon you. though they are not that difficult of you have attended lectures and studied properly.

Placement Experience :

After 2 years of Masters, you can apply for placements. placements are average in the college. companies like Wipro, Tata consultancy, Deloitte, Infosys etc highest package are 9 to 10 LPA. in addition they have profiles for writer, teacher and creative writing 75% of students get placements. I plan to give the NET/SET exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of my course are 9500rs only which is reasonable and for two years it is pretty fine. not that costly. they provide 1.national scholarship, 2. eklavya scholarship, 3.meritorious students and there are many other. you can go on the website of the college for further information.

Campus Life :

there are many fests celebrated in the college like Mukhtachhanda [unique culture fest], three days intra-college festival, Oorja then there is BITS N BYTES [annual technical festival]. actually, if you see there are many culture fest that goes in the college. you have various time to explore it with your extraordinary talent. The library has got various books from academic books to competitive exam books to novels. they have collaboration with the national library as well. Amenities in classrooms: normal infra of class.

I was influenced by my principal for this course as Pune University is the Oxford of the East, I thought it would be a very knowledge-gaining and skill-enhancing course, and this curriculum will help my students to gain needed skills in today's technological world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying political science at postgraduate level in savitribai phule pune university. Our course structure is good. It covers basic fundamental of subject. Teachers deeply teach core concepts. But they lack on real world application. They dont focus on market demands. Students of political science finds hard to get placement.

Placement Experience:

The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.

Admission:

For the admission in this university first you have to fill out the form at your nearest or your preferred study center to apply for the entrance test. The entrance test paper is objective has particular pattern so you prepare for it, like G.K. 20 marks, Social Work Aptitude 40 marks, General Aptitude 20 marks and English Grammar 20 marks. you should at least score 50% to get into the university.

Placement Experience:

Throughout the year few on campus job interviews were held but there were not too much opportunities were presented but the offers were always very good. There were no guide lines or age restrictions for these interviews. These companies were either small local or small japan based companies who were looking to hire young generation.
