Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is common for MBA as other colleges of Delhi etc.Since my specialization was MBA in marketing, which is a subject where we can relate may examples from the common world so understanding and moving ahead was a bit easy. the crowd was also good.the professors too were very helpful. The seniors helped a lot in following the course curriculum.

Internships Opportunities :

In our time there was on company impaneled where we could have approached for placement. So it was a little tough task to search job. The college did not provide internship so there is no question of stipend. Overall experience was so so but we were happy that we were doing a course which will make our future bright.

Placement Experience :

After completing my MBA i came to new Delhi where by chance i got a chance to join Cadbury which was into institutional Diwali and Dussehrra sale sell. The package was around 11 k which was not bad.

College Events :

Since MBA newly had started in the college so there was not such facilities abs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Its just that there was a library from where we course issue MBA Books and study. As fr as the Gender ratio is concerned we were just 6 girls and all boys. Since Bihar itself is in a developing phase so life is little sophisticated so parties in college was a big no.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

No scholarship or loan facility was available during our time. Things was really difficult but the fee was quite genuine and flexible too. So this did not create much problem. Some people use to give the complete payment in one go and some in installments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarship or loan facility was available during our time. Things was really difficult but the fee was quite genuine and flexible too. So this did not create much problem.

Hostel Facilities :

There was no hostel facility so there was no tension of food. Yes, for students who was coming from outside Gaya for study they were provided accommodation till they find a shelter for themselves there they were okay with food. Though i personally have never visited any of my friends in my room but yes they wished instead of searching for a new room they could have stayed for ever in the guest house provided.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes our seniors were very helpful. They provided us notes, course material and support whenever we had problems in resolving any query/questions.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure was provided to us at least a month before so that we could do proper preperation for our papers. No doubt it was a hectic day for us preparing for the exams because i was a working girl and the college was quite a new one so the facility was min and we had to prepare everything on our own.

Faculty :

The faculties were all qualified and having good knowledge about the subject. They were all very helpful and use to give time to all the students as the crowd was not much big and the girl population was quite less. We used to go for private tutions too.

Placement Experience:

From term 4 onwards students are eligible for Final Placements. Term 1 onwards for summer internships. That being said, it is crucial to know your subjects well and have a good personality at the same time to be one of the early birds in placements.

Placement Experience:

One of the things that the institute needs to improve is its placements. There is a dedicated placement cell which is trying to improve the placements for the students. Almost 80% of students get placed every year. Our top recruiting companies are Hindustan Unilever, Usha Capacitor, Dena Bank, IDBI Bank and others. The highest salary in our batch was 7 LPA while the average package offered was 4 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA because of several reasons. One of them is my interest in business and marketing. Another reason is that it provides great scope for jobs if one wants to do initially in career. I want to become an entrepreneur in the future. That's why I opted for the course. As far as the faculty-student ratio of my campus is concerned it is 25:4. All of the facilities are highly qualified and they are having an efficient teaching method. They have experience of at least 10 years in teaching. They make us understand the concepts well and are always ready to solve our doubts and problems. They always motivate us to do on-field works and therefore give us assignments. There is a semester system for MBA in my university and therefore examinations are held every six months. The level of examination is moderate and one should be attentive in classrooms and study well in order to score good marks in the examination. Also, the marks are based on assignments done by us.

Remarks:

The major factor for me choosing IIM Bodh Gaya over other IIMs was ROI. Here the mean and median package clocked 10.5 lpa and the fees was also the same. Also, Bodh Gaya being in close proximity to my hometown I preferred it over Sambalpur, Sirmaur and Jammu.
