Remarks :
The reasons are:- Brand Name of NMIMS , Good Placements, Excellent Infrastructure facilities and Location Advantage. The admission process was very smooth and included a Case Discussion round followed by the Personal Interview. Post admission, the college administration makes sure all the students are comfortable with the course details.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After completing my under-graduation, I was aiming for a B-school which can provide me with a good course structure, facilities and final placements in a good company. NMIMS Bangalore covered all these aspects. The facilities are highly qualified and most of them have Ph.D. degrees. The faculties use Harvard Case studies to teach. We are also given exposure to contact with the Industrial experts. The faculties try to teach the concepts using life examples and case studies so that the students can relate to them. The examination is taken on the understanding of the subject and not only the theoretical concepts.
Internships Opportunities :
There are several companies like Dell, Britannia, Jio Studios, Marsh, MTR, Oyo, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. who offers internship to the students. The roles include Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Business Development, Banking, etc. The college ensures that all the students irrespective of their work experience, are interning in a good company.
Placement Experience :
NMIMS Bangalore ensures that all the students get their final placements and internships from the college. The placement committee ensures that there are several companies for each specialization and offering all the different job roles available. The process usually starts from August-September. We have companies like Dell, Britannia, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Infosys, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for our course is Approx Rs. 9 lacs per year. This includes all the charges like infrastructure cost, Materials cost, etc. Except for the hostel fees. The fee structure can vary according to the facilities provided. The college does provide financial assistance only if the student's case is genuine, after verifying all the details.
Campus Life :
There are 7 committees and 12 clubs in the college. All of them are active throughout the year and hold independent events. Along with this, the college also has its Annual Fest - Nityaksh, which is an Inter-college fest. The college also organizes TEDx, E-Summits, Strategy Conclave, Business Conclave, etc. The college has a great library which is also available online. It is updated with all the latest books and journals. The classrooms have centralized AC's, projectors, and screens. The college also makes sure that all the students take part in the club and committee works.
Interview Experience :
The first stage was a Case Discussion wherein groups of 8-10 students were made. They were given a specific case to be discussed and at the end, all the students were given a chance to conclude. This was followed by a Personal Interview Round wherein the questions were asked on the work experience if any, basic background knowledge, exposure to any markets, and personal details.
