Remarks :
I attended this college as I am pursuing CA and can't focus much on college, so this college helps me in that. There is only a single examination conducted in an entire year instead of two-semester exams. But there are many drawbacks to this college, like poor facilities, poor environment, regular document submission, bad treatment of students by teachers, etc. The educational facilities aren't great either, teachers mostly teach in Hindi (ancient type) even though you have to write in English if you are from the English medium. Overall I won't recommend this college at all, until and unless you are from Hindi medium and won't pursue a college in Hindi medium or you are doing some other course and can't focus on college. If those are not the case, then it is better to not join this college and join better colleges. The admission process is simple, you just need to fill some form and give details and you are selected. Percentage in high school doesn't matter much, almost everyone gets admitted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted for B.Com as I am pursuing CA. Also, I was always interested in trade and commerce, so what better than Bcom. The faculty to student ratio is very high, there are 5-6 teachers for 600 students which makes it 1 per 100 students, and teachers teaching different subjects, sometimes even two subjects are taught by one teacher. Exams are conducted once a year and it's not very easy but also not very difficult to pass the exams. Teaching methods aren't great and also there is a language problem where teaching is done mostly in Hindi (ancient Hindi).
Placement Experience :
There are no campus placements in our college, no company visits the college. You yourself have to apply after graduating and look for companies. But the type of college this is, it's almost certain that no companies will be interested in you.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are very low, it's 3032 per year for a regular student and I am a scholarship student, so for me, the fees were only Rs 100 per year. The college is very affordable, and there are payments that need to be made from time to time like exam fees, etc. but that doesn't cost much either. The scholarship I got was Chief Minister Meritorious Scheme and Medhavi Chatra scheme.
Campus Life :
Campus life isn't good either as there aren't many facilities. But the ground for sports is quite large and there is also the NCC Cadet group present. So considering sports facilities, the college is somewhat good, but other than that college is not upto the mark. The amenities in the classroom aren't great, the library isn't great and there are no good fests either. Also, there aren't any social groups.
