Remarks :

Holkar science college is one of the best science institutes (semi-government) in the country as well staff is good and practices are explained very well by teachers on 5 days out of a week. This institute supports sports as well you can get admission in this college by merit list. Bad aspect: if your medium (induction) was Hindi then you may face some problem but you get used to it along with time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I mentioned that it's one of the best science institutes in the country. Faculty is good and the ratio is around 60-70 students per teacher. Around 70 percent of faculty have to teach experience more than10 years. Unit test of each subject ( papers) is held at the end of the month. Exams are not that tough you can say between tough and medium.

Placement Experience :

High profile companies visit In our college because this is one of the best colleges in this country every year students get selected according to there presentation companies as top recruiters cognizant, TCS, Wipro, informationipca.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are not too much if you belong to sc/st caste you get scholarship provided by the government of Madhya Pradesh. As well you can get admission through CM Madhavi scholarship scheme (minimum percentage should be 75% in MP board and 85% in CBSE board). If your presentation is good during campus recruitment you can get a package of 50 -60 thousand rupees per month.

Campus Life :

Yes, the festival of Lord Ganesha is celebrated every year in this institute as well inter-college sports are tournament is held every year. There is a huge library in which You can read all books as well you can issue those books and every edition of newspaper weather is in Hindi or English you can read. Section-wise we can create social Groupon social media mostly on whatsapp where we can share news related to education.

I don't know which course i want, i confused and i had minimum knowledge about this but i had my 12th study's with biology so i have to continue with this course in my college course. Collage was not so good for placement its a government college so there was no placement, college organised some Rojgar Mela but it was not a placement program that students wants

I'm in bsc cs, I'm interested in coding that's why I took it. The curriculum are not that practical they just teach you theoretical part. The course needs to improve in practical part. By the way exam system is good and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BSc botany with a minor in zoology and open elective computer science ( multimedia and animation) and also there is a vocational course available for students from this year which is beneficial for them, I opted for digital marketing due to its high demand. And also there are 20+ BSc courses in Holkar college so the students can choose courses according to their interests. And now from this year, the college is providing 4 years BSc but it depends upon the student if he wants to do 3 years BSc Or does 4 years BSc honor in the course. The students in my class were 138 and the faculty of the college are helpful but not all are with the kind nature, and also they are very qualified and experienced. Exams are happening twice a year per semester with a credit system from this year with a new education policy.

The placement is good. Many big companies like Hindustan Times, Airtel, idea, etc come and offer a decent package of 3.2lakh per annum, which is quite good. Companies come but the ratio of selected students during on-campus is very less.
