Remarks :

Management is very strict about discipline.no compromises will be done. There is no time for enjoyment only study.recruitment could be better. Much exposer is needed.

Entrance Preview :

WBJEE, 17000(rank)i have opted because for its infrastructure, good environment, no-ragging,full wi-fi campus, well equipped laboratories, large play ground, renown professors etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Being a mechanical engineering student i am very proud of my stream as the whole world knows about its importance in each and every stage of engineering.mechanical is the only branch without which the entire engineering is meaningless. So,those students who dont have any idea regarding this branch they should know its importance in worlds market before they are going to pursue it.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes it provide internships. Tpo cell is united with some companies to provide training and internships. I dont have any idea regarding the stipends.

Placement Experience :

Placement is moderate depending on the present days market. Campusing is running good. As the age of the college is 8years so based on it some renown companies are visiting for recruitment. Tpo cell is doing good and more is expected from them pool campus and on campussing is done.

College Events :

Tech fest which includes roborace, robo soccer, robo carrom etc. model exhibition, cultural events, debates, sports events,etc all are organized. Freshers party and farewell party are also organized.fashion show, art competitions are also organized here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure normal like other engineering colleges in kolkata. Total fees is rupees 3,80,000 (including everything). its quite normal comparing to other colleges. B.TECH- RS 3,80,000, MBA- RS 1,90,000, DIPLOMA- RS 1,10,000, management quota is also there.there are 5 streams in b.tech and diploma.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes scholarship facilities is available depending on various conditions.loan facilities is also there.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio for mechanical and civil department is different from others.in mechanical the ratio is 165:2 and for civil it is 150:10.for others department ratio is quite good. Campus life is very cool here. But there some restrictions.sports competitions are organized every year for football and cricket.right now the college is bonded with the cricket association of Bengal for selecting players based on age.robotic competition is very popular in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities is very good.room choice is entirely on students hand. wi-fi available.food quality is good but sometimes its worst! but due to the friendly environment inside hostel everything is running well and good.wardens are strict here for maintaining the hostel rules.no ragging is allowed in the hostel. Single room,double room etc is available.separate girls hostel is there any with full security and safety for girls.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes the seniors are very helpful from the first day. they will co-operate you in every time you help.there is no-ragging allowed inside the campus.tech fest,cultural programmes, freshers party, farewell party etc are organized in the institute.

Exam Structure :

There are two internal exams in each semester.both internal exams are of 30 marks for each subject. Lab exam is done according to the university rules. there is no other tests. Depending on the attendance, internal marks, assignments and class performance marks are send to the university.

Faculty :

Am extremely lucky that today what i have acquired my position its only due to my respected faculties.faculties are from renown government institutes with vast years of teaching experience and industrial background. Faculties spend good time with us through out the day at any time.till now what i have seen is best to me and for my career.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
