Remarks :
I had opted this course, in this Campus, well known for its excellence in its academics area, for its gems like experienced professors and of course it's cleanliness, recently accredited by A+ by NAAC, is just ten mins drive away from my home.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's basically historical, covering all the time periods of English Literature, in my aspect. Whether you look for a novel or a text to read for a particular subject it's mandatory to go through the history of the literature to know the stories of world wars and the discovery of literature itself. Dr. Manjeet Rathee and Dr. Sudhir are my forever mentors I got from this university.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet, but I am trying my best to get indulge in one.
Placement Experience :
The placement depends upon the qualifications and the marks obtained in the course you have studied previously or are persuing for personally, I haven't come across any such cell. I am not sure about the alumni connecting or referring us for the jobs.
College Events :
Whether it's a deepawali celebration or a mere writing competition, the English department has always stepped forward to encourage the students to learn and yearn through the cultural events. The events were not only interdepartmental but also celebrates inter-college festivals with a great number of spectators from various states.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am not aware of any such scholarship as I myself have not received any yet, but the university claims to offer the scholarship for the first topper of the department of a particular year.
Campus Life :
It is the best campus out of all the universities in India. You would be reliving your younger self while entering it's area because it's greenery adds upto several days to your life. The Vivekananda library, is the biggest asset you could have gained while studying here. The WiFi facility is available for your on going research and thesis, in this two storeyed, having great divisions regarding each and every section of the subjects you could ever have listened.
Hostel Facilities :
There are separate hostels for girls and boys and of course for every department or the course for which the student has applied for. Each hostel is secured by a different guard at the entry and from inside the warden takes care of your each and every single thing. The option of sharing or single rooms is available as per your requirements. The hostel seats are usually filled at the starting of the admission procedure once confirmed due to the great number of strength of students applying.
