Rahul Bansal's Review On Malout Institute Of Management And Information Technology - [MIMIT], Malout

Remarks :

Due some financial conditions. Its local for me and I got CMSS scholarship which is basically based on 12th percentage. I like most about this college is that I'm a day scholar so it's easy for me to go home anytime when required. I am very passionate about programming, development, and overall computer technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course syllabus was like any other normal college. Not any significant industrial experience. Our college happend to be affiliated with the most corrupted and worst university one can get i.e. PTU(Punjab Technical University). Anyone can get fail even if the whole exam was attempted correctly and then there is revaluation, rechecking fees which will not be returned in case there is mistake in checking from there side. The total percentage of students getting supply/back is 60% average, its fact data is available online. Only a few teachers are good in some sense rest all are just passing time.

Placement Experience :

Only some small local companies from chandigarh, delhi visits the college. The no. Of students getting placed are low. The placement process is simole first aptitude and technical test round then interview. I'm in 3rd year now so don't know with detail about the placement process.

College Events :

The campus life is normal we have only one small canteen and a nescafe shop a stationary shop. Since our college principal is replaced technical activities have decreased but there are lot of extracurricular activities happening in the college.

Campus Life :

Our campus infrastructure is good comoared to any government college in nearby cities. We have labs with working pcs and Internet. Library is small but has both ac and nosn ac sections. There is proper chemistry lab with all equipments and mechanical workshop with necessary equipments.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Placement Experience:

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
