Jeevitha G's Review On Government Arts College (Autonomous), Karur

Remarks :

Good college in Karur. Faculties are friendly nature with helping mentality which who are coming from village also getting guide from each staff. Compare to other college in Karur fee structure was very low. So I chosen this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For me syllabus is ok covering the basics of my subject. There is no internship in our college so industrial exposure is not at all great. Faculties are friendly with helping mentality, well experienced, as we can ask whatever I doubt whatever place whatever time. My favourite faculty was Rajadurai Sir.

Internships Opportunities :

No I have not opted for any internship.

Placement Experience :

Most of the students working in part time jobs. Government conduct placements and job opportunities yearly. Companies around Karur and in local areas visit our college during campus. Final year students get selected in those campus.

College Events :

Most of the students were from rural area so this campus give good exposure to them. Cultural and festivals occur during special occasions and the government conduct some essay writing competitions, speech competitions, workshops. Many students participate in this competitions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes I availing good scholarship from the government yearly. Many more scholarships are available from the government father girls. PM scholarships are also available for us.

Campus Life :

This college was started in 1970s so there are many old buildings but now government constructed many new classrooms and buildings with high speed Wi-Fi for every department and every department has separate library. Every department has separate lab with good equipments. Sports facility in our college is good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered from companies like reliance. But most students prefer higher education and those willing to work starts as junior lawyers. We start interning from the first year of college moreover being a good lawyer relies on the talent and skill we develop during our education.
