Studies,campus life,opportunities in placement,project work,and to explore training and Everything about the Panjab University.I just love this university.My course system biology and bioinformatics is simply amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes. we get enough seminar and all. Faculties are also very cooperative in my department. Ashok sir,veena mam,Tamana Ma'am. All are very good. The way they teach us simply amazing. they gave extra time to the students for classes

Course Fees : INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience :

Yes alumini. There are so many. Isha donga,kumardeep Singh,Shruti,Nisha Rohilla. They all completed their ph.d 's from US and guiding us so well. Every year 10 out of 12-13 students are placed well in the companies or for higher studies.

College Events :

There are so many cultural activities in the University. Virasat and Goonj programs.i usually participiated in the functions as a volunteer or as a discipline head. These functions are so big and every year they invite a famous singer like Sir Sartaj,Gurdass maan ji

Beautiful and rocking college life

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester ,one can become eligible for placement . As I am new in the college so I don't know much but through seniors I get to know that minimum package of our college is 500000 and rest it depends on person to person ability and potential to conquer and win .

IS BE-CSE FROM CHANDIGARH ANY GOOD?

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, Companies started coming and it may offering till the last semester. Paypal, Toddle, TVS, Mahindra, LG and many more comapnies visited in a single semester which offered 10-30 lakhs and some companies which also offering 4-8 lakhs which actually took some of the students as compared to high package companies.

Good college but surely need much improvements in different fields

I would good ratings to the curriculum and academic syllabus provided to us does match the need of the student for further competitions and in future interviews they enhance the soft skills and communication skills of a student for the interviews and this syllabus of the subjects like maths physics etc does match the compatitive level and the level which a student of today's generation should be taught

Life in D.A.V College, Chandigarh by khushboo

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom is one prominent course for an commerce student which provides a wide range of fields. There don't teach you how one can use the theory knowledge in pratical application , so they don't prepare you for real world , one itself have to work on them if want to get succeed, teachers may help you if you're ask for help. We have mid semester exams where half syllabus is given to prepare , it is kind of like a test. Whereas we do have semester exams with moderate level of question, one can easily pass even after they study one day before their exams but have to strategically plan about what to study and what to not.

Actually it is my dream to do CA that's why I choose this course and if I talk about improvement in teaching methods then I think not only in my cllg but all over India the major problems in teaching methods are we focusing more on theoretical knowledge but not in practical manner even we know that practical is more important which we have to use in real life so I think we should study in practical manner
