Remarks :
The first thing the infrastructure, which is unique and can't be seen in any other College, it is surrounded by small hills, good natural surrounding which will give you peace of mind, the best library I have seen so far, about the course mine is hotel management and catering science, it will teach you things about life, will groom a person professionally, more into the practicals than just paper knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I have already mentioned, my course is more into practical and industrial knowledge than just pairs, we had the best infrastructure starting from the front desk, kitchen, a bakery, a model suite room for housekeeping, 2 restaurants with a mock bar setup, the syllabus was the best with good materials being provided for us, and to mention about the faculties they have given us the best insights about our industry, since they have also been into the industry, organizing more workshops, giving more practical knowledge etc, it's without them we ll not be able to survive in the industry.
Internships Opportunities :
As hotel management students we had to do our internship which is a part of our syllabus, we had to do our industrial exposure training as two parts, after completing first year its for one and hang month or 45 days and then after completing 2nd year it's almost 4 and half months i.e the complete 5th semester, we had to work with good brands like Taj hotels, Hyatt, green park hotels, club Mahindra or any hotel in your locality will be organized by the faculty by giving an endorsed letter from the college.
Placement Experience :
In regards to the placement, amidst everyone will be given a chance to attend the interviews, some of the brands were Taj hotels, Hyatt, Greenpark hotels, Royal le meridian, The recidency group of hotels etc, but only feedback during my batch was if you've already got selected you'll not be able to attend another interview, however given that our hotel industry Always offers jobs in any hotel being a bsc graduate, in regards to alumini yes they do help us cracking the interviews, they give us more insights and update us on the industry, entrepreneurs yes, my batch mate have started a small stall in our college itself with quality snacks being served.
College Events :
Since we were from hotel management course, we had to take care of any guest who visit the college for any special events conducted, let it be engineering events, arts college events or even for mba placements/ campus interviews, any special guest or anyboutsider who visit the college will be taken care by us, in our well equipped department of catering science, apart from that we used to conduct events every month with one National event every year in the name of cimetz where other College hotel management students will also be called for competition.
Campus Life :
About the infrastructure it was the best, best in terms of my course which was equipped with everything, starting from the front desk/ reception, a big lobby, 2 restaurants with one mock bar setup, a model suite room fully air conditioned, a modern kitchen setup which can hold 30 people at a time, a bakery fully equipped, wifi is complimentary inside the campus, since we were the batch to initiate digital classrooms, the platform used was myklassroom back then, we had the best library in Tamilnadu, with everything being digitalised back then itself, in regards to play ground yes we had an athletic track of 400meters, a football ground apart from that we had a huge convention center which was called as Sri Krishna hall, an open air theater was also present, with four courts inside the campus itself, our college got a good creditation from aicte back then itself
Hostel Facilities :
I had not taken the hostel, however they infrastructure was good, with Ali the facilities there, the cafeteria service was also nice with good quality food provided by the Management. You can make good friends related to your course at the hostel as well.
