Remarks :

Petroleum engineering was the most booming industry during 2013. Reliance industry used to hire in bulks. And placements were expected to be very good. Location is also very awesome, surrounded by mountains.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses were very condensed. And 7th sems was the one with max no. Of subject. Around 10. There were few good facilities and rest were mediocre. Peers were of very good standard. It follow cgpa out of 4. Over all the college experience was 3/5.

Internships Opportunities :

Got intership with ONGC. It was on site intership. Worked as drilling intern. On Gujarat Ankleshwar. No stipend. It was without money. Worked for 2 months. Experience were enriching.

Placement Experience :

Good. Right now placement of IT sector is very good. Companies like Flipkart, Infosys, ibm, dell visits the campus. For petroleum placement is mediocre now. Few good company comes but mostly just IT companies. Internship is good. ONGC and IOCL gives the internship.

College Events :

Separate events were happening for each student chapters. Then there were two fests happening each year. One around new batch and other ignite was very fascinating. They had participation from almost all the college from the city.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I didn't avail any scholarships. But there were some for those getting excellent 12th percentage. Loans are available for the college. But with normal rate. No scholarship. One of my friend received scholarship for more than 1 lakh on tution fee.

Campus Life :

There were full fledged sports field. Football, cricket ground. Campus was wifi enabled bit was not for students unless it's tweaked. Library was 3 storey. Had all sorts of books. Along with that it had several e-books, magazine subscriptions. There were specific labs for almost all segments. But equipments were not up to the mark. Either some were missing or yet to be installed.

Hostel Facilities :

College had a hostel but with limited seats for mostly one for girls and few students. But there were numerous private hostels. Which were 2 stars,3 stars. But their fees were very high. Hotels were near as well as at max 20 km away from the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It offers multiple opportunities and a great profession to persue. If one has inclination towards animals and doest compare it with mbbs or other degrees. It is a different profession requiring different mindsets. One can be a veterinary officer of grade one or grade two according to state government.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provides both theoretical and practical knowledge about the subjects to the students we have field work which helps in attaining field knowledge. The faculties are supportive. Only the problem is the time schedule for agri students is very busy and tedious but doesn't matter.

In the last semester student become eligible for campus placement. And the companies visited were nice like Google, Microsoft, etc. The highest package was around 55,00,000 and the average package is around five lakh for BBA course . I think the hundred percent student which applied for placement has got placed in the companies and I have planned to doing MBA after my BBA, so not getting for placement.

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
