Remarks :
I choose this college because it is the no.1 engineering college in Rajasthan as per the rankings of BTU Bikaner. The admission process here is really simple you can get admission here very easily. It needs 60%marks in the 12th and just mark sheet of jee. No need to worry about marks in jee. This college gives chances to the student who somehow didn't succeed in jee Or 12th. It has large grounds and most important modern technology labs for every branch. It is NBA accredited college and the only college in Rajasthan who has got NAAC 'A' Grade.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Civil engineering is the easiest branch in engineering from my point of view. There are large opportunities in this field as this world is constructing new, unique, and large structures. In my college the civil faculty is good. They are having highly qualified teachers and lab technicians also. There are 30-35 teachers in the civil department. This department teaches not only syllabus topics but that also means about the newest technology of construction, new designs, etc. Our department organizes various tours for students. So that they know what an engineer face problem on-site, how he works, the way of starting the work, etc. It's a 7-day tour in which the students learn about leveling, topographic maps, etc. Faculties are highly qualified from its and various government institutes. The exams are very simple. No need to worry about theory. But practicals are a little too harder because civil is a practical branch. JIET has a semester system. And has a grade marking system.
Placement Experience :
The placement here is not so that good but is not bad also nor average. The students from the 6th semester are eligible for placements. The company's which visits are like IMA, INFOSYS, WIPRO, TATA, BYJUS, L&T, etc. In the year 2019-2020, there were so many placements about 600-700 students got placed in various companies. The average package was 5 lakhs per annum. The highest was about 50 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee Stucture is very reliable. You can complete your B. Tech in approximately 5-6 lakh. The fees stucture is designed by AICTE and UGC not by college. The infrastructure here is very good. There are various scholarship program under government schemes. Campus placement helds every year and near about 400-500 students are placed in companies. Such as IMA, Infosy, wipro, tata, google, byjus etc. There is aptitude classes also for preparation of GATE and various exams. College tries it's best for students to get placed.
Campus Life :
JIET is also very famous for its extracurricular activities. There is lots of fun. On every Saturday there is some activities for everything like sports, technocraft, debates, mock interview etc. When you will take admission in the next month like in August there is open house function bin which students makes different models and projects for showcase. We invite students of every school in city and nearby. There is fair for them . ISRO also showcase there models. Then there is sports fest in otober-november. Than there is RESONANCE grand show. This goes for one week!!!!! Than at last there is celebrity night where superstars come like shaan, mika, etc. There are various clubs also both for technical and non technical.
