Entrance Preview :
I have taken GATE entrance exam to get into my post graduation,i scored 97% in GATE and have ranked all India 661 rank. The reason for opting this Computers course is that basically i love this subject so much and that i have a passion to come up with some creative ideas.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very well planned by the professors. It is designed in such a way that it can be used for students who are willing to continue their research work. We don't have electives for CST 1st Semester and for 2nd Semister.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes College provides stipend for post graduates and research scholars. The general stipend for PG candidates is Rs 8000 per month and for research scholars its Rs 18000.(These numbers are upto my knowledge during the time that we studied).
Placement Experience :
There are many placement companies that came to our University. Nearly 85% of our batch got placed. And some of them even placed in 2-3 companies .I remember a few companies that came to our campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have no idea about the loan offered but University has the scholarship option. This option is for backward class people say SC/ST/BC/OBC. The.The one who claims for this scholarship is not eligible for stipend. I remember my friend getting SC scholarship of Rs145000 (Approximately).
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is well planned both for external and internal exams. But the class tests would sometimes be scheduled suddenly. The external exams and labs are strictly conducted and the question paper is very tricky (At least for questions would be tricky) for which only textbook knowledge is not enough always. The invigilation is also very strict irrespective of whether it is an internal or external exam.
Faculty :
Most of the professors in the University have PHD degrees and there are many research scholars who can guide us whenever required. The professors encourage us to take up many research studies so that they make a good path for future. There will be supporting by guiding us through some publications in IEEE.
