Remarks :
In my opinion, getting a degree and college education has been a wonderful experience. I've learnt a lot in the 4-years of designated curriculum, and got placed at one of the finest companies that visits the campus for recruitment - Infosys Technologies. To sum up, Lingaya's University of Management & Technology (now Lingaya's University) is definitely a good option to pursue Bachelors in the field of Engineering.
Entrance Preview :
The entrance examination I took was AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). The reason I chose this college was mainly because of the following 3 reasons:1. Location: Being located in Faridabad, it was easy to travel up and down to college (through College Bus service) than too take up hostel accommodation. I wasn't willing to relocate to another location to pursue my education. 2. Placements: This college has/is well-known for their placement guarantee. At the time of taking admission, this was the best possible option in Faridabad with best placement history. 3. Good Reputation: The campus has always been known for its quality of education, ranging from multiple subject choices to well-renowned faculty.

Semester 3 to 8 - Based on the specialization opted (eg. The final 2 semesters (7 &8) have comparatively lesser number of subjects owing to final year Live Project.
Internships Opportunities :
As a part of the B.TECH Course, students are not expected to attend any internship but a Summer Training, which is not in-house but based on corporate experience. It could be working in a firm for 7-8 weeks, conducting a project, followed by report submission and project presentation.

The placement cell at Lingaya's is highly effective. The college has tie-ups with major brands such as Infosys (Day 1 Company), Syntel, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Capital IQ and other worthy names. The placement cell also helps students to prepare in advance for all sorts of interviews, group discussions and aptitude examinations which form a part of the selection process, through workshops and trainings.

The college had events occurring round the academic year : 1. Annual Fest - a 3-day celebration that happens in February every year. The food outlets at the campus were fairly good - Nescafe Outlet, Several Tuck Shops etc. Additionally, the campus as Vodafone Store, 2 Book Shops, Beauty Parlour, Photocopy Shops etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college has its own network of alumni called C.O.O.L, which is a short name for Confederation of Old Limatians. This network has an extensive network of all the ex-students now working with major corporates. These alumni are invited for the annual fest, and an annual alumni meeting involving sports activities followed by lunch.
