Course Curriculum Overview :

It was a six months duration course and we had five subjects to study in that duration. The external were taken at the end of the session. We were asked to present the taught material and vivas were conducted throughout. The curriculum was easy and provided a great opportunity to work in the government firm.

Placement Experience :

Since this was a short-term project the placements were only through the government sector in various departments like storm prediction, rainfall, cyclones firm. Almost all the candidates got placed with an average package of Rs.15 lakhs per year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since this was a government College, the institute had the mean objective to let the students studying and work in the government field, The fee was feasible around Rs.15,000 approximately which could be submitted in the form of demand draft, card payments but no cash was accepted.

Campus Life :

The institute had all the government working firms working under one roof. The students came from different backgrounds and there were equal number of boys and girls at the campus. The libraries were fully equipped with all the latest text books and the satellite rooms were fully functional which could be operated. We had playgrounds where the students could play sports activities like football and cricket.

Admission :

I applied to this short-term course of six months in Master of science in metrology through the official website of the college. I was called upon for the interview session and my qualification details were verified. Out of the 25 candidates selected for the short-term projects I got enrolled.

Faculty :

The faculty were the active members of the metrological department with a minimum experience of five years. They all were nobles and professionals and had huge knowledge and experience. They were very humble by nature and we were able to communicate with them.

Remarks:

No entrance exams are needed to take admission in SP college, Chandrapur. Students doing plain 11th - 12th have the best opportunity for their career as they have to score good marks in 12th boards.

Placement Experience:

SP college, Chandrapur ranks average in case of placements. As less companies come for the placements. Students are placet at Infosys and Wipro.
