Ishita's Review On Vaish College, Rohtak

4.5 /5

Course Curriculum Overview :

This is a three-year course which focuses on ancient American Literature, fiction, non-fiction and grammar. (I was just giving heads up, visit the college's site for detailed information about the subjects).

Placement Experience :

The college does provide internship opportunities, I interned in a content writing agency for a duration of three months. The stipend was approximately 5,000 INR Per month. The placement cell of the college is quite decent, companies like Oyo, Travel Triangle visit for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I personally find the college pretty affordable, the fee structure is very simple and feasible. The college charges 15,000 INR annually for B.Com Hons. and as the course is for 3 years the total amount comes somewhere between 45,000 INR.

Campus Life :

The college is well built and nicely equipped with the necessary technologies and facilities like a library to read in, anti-ragging cell to assure the student of freshmen year of safety. The college has an amazing ambience overall.

Admission :

The college had no policy of entrance exam back then, I was notified about my selection after a couple of weeks before I filled an online application form. I was requested to visit the college with the necessary documents and the annual fees.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is great. The teachers are very supportive, we have a lot of film classes which are based on American novels. The dramas and the movies featured by the teacher proved that the college values practical knowledge and fun as much as the theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

In 5 semesters you have eligible for college placements. There are so many reputed companies that visited the college for placement every year. Some of the companies are Maruti Suzuki, Hitachi, Daikin, coca-cola, dell, hcl, isgec, Wipro, sub rosa, etc. These are some companies who give you a job at a good starting package. The placement percentage is increasing every year, not a specific number.

Admission:

I got the admission in this college by clearing the entrance exam.

Placement Experience:

Only few companies visit the campus for placements. TCS is only mass recruiter which visit campus every year and hires 100-150 students every year. Average package is 3-4 LPA. Companies like Fidelity international and india mart offer 5 LPA but hire only few students. Placement is mainly for IT, CSE students. No core placements for mech, civil, biotech, chemical etc.
